Our room was in a cluttered basement, smelled like sewage, and the beds were broken, uncomfortable, and missing sheets. The bathrooms were filthy and flooded, and staff/construction workers entered our room throughout the day. As two young girls, we were placed in a room with older men, including homeless men who used the showers and toilets with the doors wide open, making us feel very unsafe. Our request to move rooms was refused, and I woke up covered in bed bug bites. By far the worst hostel
