Really good hostel, easy to make friends and awesome pub crawl! Would be even better if it was not in the red light district though. Some shady characters do walk past at night.

Great hostel, clean, modern, all the facilities. Only downside was lack of fun atmosphere, but that could have been a time of year thing, and it WAS mid-week. All up, though, really enjoyable stay.

5 Element hostel is Awesum. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Issue are that it is located in the red light district so I felt a bit unsafe walking the streets at night away from the hostel.

The facilities were ok and the hostel was well-located, but it was, by far, the most expensive hostel in europe. I really don't think it was worth it.

It is a beautiful hostel that happens to be in the red light district. Not as shady as you'd think but still a little shady. Clean and new, with helpful and friendly employees.

I was very impressed by this hostel. They have really taken the traveller's needs into thought while putting together the hostel, from a tv/pool room to security to constantly cleaning every bathroom. My boyfriend and I had a private double room on the top floor, which felt more like a chic hotel than a hostel As I had read on previous reviews, it is indeed right at the border of the red light district, but it is also just a short stroll from downtown and from the historic/touristy district.

Probably the best hostel I have stayed in. Very clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. New Years party was great and although in the red light district the security was great!
