This hostel is right in old Town, the staff was really helpful, and they have a happy hour where you can meet other people in the hostel and go out with them afterwards. Across the way from the hostel is a cold drinks sign which leads to a cafe that overlooks the water- if you go in and down all the cafe's steps you reach a small area on a rock next to the water which is an amazing place to swim, tan, and jump into the water from the cliffs. Depending on the hour you may have it to yourselves!

Staff is helpful and the rooms are clean, but generally the facility is a bit old and can use an upgrade. The hostel doesn't organize any group events so most people are doing their own thing. But the hostel's trump card is the amazing location in the middle of Old Town...can't beat it!

Location was good and easy to find. Very expensive for a hostel but I haven't found other hostels within Old Town. Staff was very friendly and helping out, atmosphere was not a party type (luckily) but social anyway! Free breakfast, coffee and water. Only thing is if you are a light sleeper without earplugs: the dorms are all open and connected to the staircase from top to bottom, so you'll hear some sounds from other floors and reception. No problem for me, but can imagine for some it might be.

Thanks for your feedback. Just wanted to clarify for future guests, the dorms have doors and aren't open (unless people forget to close them;) Thanks for staying with us and all the best!

We had booked the double bedroom that is supposed to be on top of the hostel with a seaview, but we actually got a room in a neighbours'house, which was charming and clean, with a nice garden, but no sea view...for that price (35€/pers) it felt a little too much. But anyway everything is very expensive in this city.

We were located in a private room in the neighborhood. Although the hostel itself seems awesome and we had a wonderful and warm welcome, the room itself was disgusting. It is unfortunate that Fresh sheets associates itself with other apartment owners that clearly do not have the same quality standards. The place is very well located though, but I would never recommend it to a friend

We apologize for the experience you had while staying at our neighbour's house. We've been working with them for years and are very disappointed that things weren't up to par. Please know that we have taken steps to make sure that this doesn't happen again. In the future, if there are any problems, let us know immediately. Fresh Sheets is an Awesome Hostel, Great Staff, clean, modern, cool and very close to all the action yet tucked away in a beautiful but chilled out little cobbled street, on arrival Mariana was waiting outside in case I was lost and before all the checking in procedure she offered me a welcome drink, the other guests were sociable and we all hung out together every night at the Hostel until late before taking the short walk into the Old Town Centre for more drinks. STAY HERE!

We stayed in a privet 2 bed room in a neighbouring house. A small but functional room, it did smell a lot of some perfume during the first day though which wasn't very nice. Except that it was a good room in a good location and the staff at the hostel was very nice and helpful. Nice chill out area by the reception with fridge and cooking possibility.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it. We'll speak with the neighbour to get them to ease up on whatever they are using to clean (hopefully, it's not their cologne;) Safe journeys! JK

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, you even get a welcome shot! Heard lots of previous comments about it being difficult to find however I didn't have any issues as they gave such detailed instructions. Stayed in the peak of summer so the price is higher than other places in Europe but fairly consistent with other places in dubrovnik.

This hostel is in the Old City, less than 10 minutes away from the Stradun. It is also near to a hole in the wall, where you can go for cliff jump. The reception was great, I was greeted with welcoming shot, briefed on the wheres and the whats of the Old City. There's free flow of tea, coffee and cereals all day. Bathrooms are limited, one on each floor, but then again, beds are also limited, so I never really had to wait to use the bathroom. Overall, this is a really great place!

Really nice hostel in a quiet corner of the old town. Staff are very friendly and genuine, with the hostel having a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. I stayed on the top floor, which was a bit out of the way of things and seemed peaceful enough all things considered. There's even a Happy Hour from 8-9pm, with beers costing (if memory serves correct) 10 Kuna - as opposed to the normal price of 20 Kuna. Considering the cost of such sundry items in Dubrovnik, this represents something of a bargain

A really lovely bright and clean hostel, great location, my only quibble us that it is so pricey.

This hostel is located inside Old Town where you will find some amazing sites. The staff are fantastic (Mircha in particular was very helpful) and the facilities are extremely clean. It's also very close to a bar where you can cliff dive. Only slight downside was that there wasn't much going on at the happy hours each night -- could've just been the crowd staying at the hostel while I was there. It is a small hostel though.
