The staff were great - they upgraded me from a dorm to a private room at no extra cost because they had a tour party the night I stayed.

Very friendly people, delicious food, wonderful location. Funky Cordoba would definitely be my first choice if I ever went back to Cordoba.

We stayed in a water-themed room which was very clean, bright and fun. The bed was really comfortable. The roof did spring a leak on our last night but the hostel staff seemed on top of things and were lovely. The only downside was that the hostel was not a very social place while we were there. There was no one on the terrace and the common room is not really that large. The paella night was a cheap dinner at the bar next door. This hostel has a lot of potential and is a lovely place to relax.

Pros: The Funky hostels all have a lot of character to them and interesting paintings, murals, and artwork all over the place which makes them unique to stay at. Funky Cordoba was located about a 10 minute walk from La Mezquita and the bridge, and a bit further but still walkable distance from other places to see as well as bars and restaurants. The hostel was relatively clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: Not extremely social hostel, although we did not make it to paella night.

The room is rather small but very good heater and blanket. The bathroom is quite small too. The staff is very nice and kind. It is a good option, compared to low price charged.

nice little rooftop terrace. atmosphere a little dry, but that could just be because people don't generally stay in cordoba more than a night. also had no hot water in the morning. otherwise good. be aware breakfast is not included.

I stayed three nights in Cordoba and I loved my stay at the hostel. It's clean and quiet, placed just near the cathedral/mosquee. The staff was very helpfull and took the time to help me out as I had trouble buying a train ticket. They offered a free diner for the Christmas Eve. I definitively recommend this place.

The downstairs entire floor smelled horrible, and internet didn't work in our rooms.

The hostel is in a nice location and was clean and warm, but it was a bit empty (perhaps the time of year but other hostels in southern Spain were busy) and there was nowhere really to hang out.

I really liked the atmosphere at the hostel. There was much going on and, if sb wasn't in mood for that, could enjoy his own time without being disturbed. Great staff at the reception, really helpful and friendly. And thanks for the arranging paella :) Take care, everybody. Hope to see you again! Jan

Very nice...the only thing to say it's about the ensuite bathroom that was actually too small and I also I'd like to suggest to put a chair in the private room but every thing else was nce.
