Gajanand was a pleasure to stay at. it's good to be a little bit out of the main square and closer to the outside markets (markets inside the fort are a lot more expensive), the owner was really helpful, allowed for changes of dates, helped booked train tickets and camel safari and even shopping! only problem is wifi isnt reachable from the rooms and you cant walk through the house, and walking down the side lane after dark is not the best. overall a great experience and definitely value for $$

Kamal is a really nice, friendly host. We were picked up very early from the train station and given a room to nap in until ours was ready, which we really appreciated. Late checkout was also no problem, so all in all we felt pretty relaxed. Good location close to the fort, shops, restaurants, etc. Highly recommended!

Gajanand is a great place. I would definitely go back of I were in Jaisalmer again. The owner goes above and beyond to help you. He doesn't push toward one specIfic camel safari, but he gave us names of a couple different agencies to check out. He let us keep our bags there overnight while On safari then let us use a room to shower nap for a few hours before we caught about. The location is excellent, right outside the market area.

In all my travels, Kamal is literally the nicest and most sincere and honest person I have met. He picked us up from the train station and welcomed us into his home. The rooms are very comfortable, the showers are wonderfully hot, and there's free reliable internet. His family is great and the children are all very friendly. The guest house is on a quiet, neighborhood street but near all the shops and restaurants and only a five minute walk to the fort. Would reccomend to all, but book early!

This place is awesome! Building is only 4 years old and the rooms are neat and spotlessly clean. Absolutely the best place during my stay in India. The city is small so everything is in walking distance. Kamal the owner is really helpful and friendly person. There is no hassle at all because he does not sell directly any camel safaris (there are offices just next door, though). I wouldn't consider any other place if I went to Jaisalmer again.

The owner was very genuine and kind! He even offered us to come back after the 2 day camel safari to shower for free. The location is out of the chaos in a quiet area, which was nice for us. Only 1 min walk to the main street leading to the fort. It was very clean and we could use internet for free.

Helpful and friendly owner, guesthouse was near enough to the fort but away from the noise. Wifi didn't work in the rooms but was very fast in the shop so wasn't really a problem.

Thank you for everything, super service and excellent facilities, if there is someone looking for big, clean room that is a please to stay, a;solo internet cafe free of charge with a mini shop inside. I know that there are plans for a roof restaurant but until now i will also recommend Trio as the portions and huge and food delicious.

Had a fantastic stay at Gajanand. Kamal and family were extremely attentive and gracious hosts, with great recommendations about what to do/see in the area. Lovely people. My room was spacious, clean, and had lots of natural light. I'd highly recommend this guesthouse to other travelers. Thank you, Kamal!
