Very friendly host, well equipped room with aircon, kitchenette and ensuite. Incredibly comfortable bed. Ask the host how the hot water works, it's a bit tricky otherwise.

We had an excellent stay - the guided tour of Puerto Ayora at arrival was a nice and very useful surprise.

aI loved staying at the Best Home Stays thanks to Kevin the owner who does more for us that in the other hostals I stayed in. I had booked for 2 nights and in the end I stayed there for 5 nights. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy your stay in the Galapagos and in the Best Home Stay Hostal!

This place was terrific - clean, well maintained, a comfortable bed and a full kitchen. Kevin, the owner, was extremely accomodating and helpful. My name was on the sign out front when I arrived and he gives everyone a tour around town allowing me to plan out my week in less than an hour. I would recommend this hostel to anyone. Easily the best hostel I have stayed in. The rooms are air conditioned (a must in Galapagos), super clean, very comfortable mattresses and big single beds in the dorms, ensuite bathroom and kitchen in the room. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and returned to this hostel 3 or 4 times during my stay in galapagos after visiting other islands. Kevin, the owner, really does his best to make you feel at home. I loved that I could leave my big backpack for a few days with him while I went to other islands.

great place. certainly the best value for money in Puerto Ayora. clean, spacy, rooms all equipped with air con, showers, kitchen. its the small things that make this a great place - free water, cofee, soaps, towels, working WiFi. but one thing makes this the best place - the owner Kevin. he is such a nice guy who will go out of his way to show you around and help. the only downside is the fact that it is 20 min walk to the center.or a 1$ taxi. doable but not ideal. i would still recommend this

Very clean and quiet place. I have full kitchen in my single private insure. I also stayed single sharing bathroom. Very clean and quiet. Common room with full kitchen. The owner, Kevin and his family are so nice and helpful.. Although the location is a little bit far but you can sleep well. If the the wireless internet works it will be perfect. I will return to Kevin next time. Strongly recommended.

The owner, Kevin and his wife are very nice and helpful people. It is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in the whole South America. It is a very quiet place which is good for a nice sleep. Hot shower unlimited bottle water. Full kitchen. What else you expect? Yes, wi-fi doesn't work A little bit far from downtown. about 20 minutes walk but very easy to find a taxi with $1. not a big deal. I will go back there and only there next time. I pluged the internet cord to my laptop and it works fin

I was a lone traveller without a handle on speaking Spanish, so as I expected, I was a bit overwhelmed with what to do when I arrived in Puerto Ayora. Kevin, the owner of the hostel, was very helpful in giving me tips and sights to explore. It made organizing my 3-day trip very easy. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and relaxed. If you don't mind a beautiful 20 minute walk into the city then you can't do much better than this hostel!

This is one of the nicest hostels I ever stayed. I've never seen such a clean dorm and even the towels are exchanged every day if you want. Each room has his own kitchen!!!

A very nice & well kept Hostel...though a bit far from the center/port. Taxis are only $1 each way so not a problem to get back & forth. Kevin who Owns/Runs the place is quite an Interesting Character & very helpful with Local Knowledge ( Be sure to take his short Walking Tour of Puerto Ayora; Informative & Entertaining for sure!! ) AC/Refrigerator/Free Drinking Water/WiFi are all nice touches not found at other Hostels on the Island, so definitely worth a Stay while on Isla Santa Cruz!

Eventhough it was a bit far from the center i really enjoyed my stay there. The bath and the rooms are really clean. You get free water if you have a bottle and fresh towels. Definetely worth the money.

Kevin, the owner is a true blessing, besides the extremely clean & beautiful rooms. You would not expect it, but 98% of the people of Galapagos DON'T speak English. They are mostly locals who expect you to come from allover the world and speak Spanish to them. Kevin is the only American who owns such a business, and probably the only one to fully understand the needs of worldwide travelers. He was gracious at all times, took us on a city tour with tons of recommendations and advices! Outstanding

The dorms are comfortable, good value, and have cooking facilities. Like other guests, we appreciated Kevin's tour of Puerto Ayora and general advice, as well as the free water in the rooms. Would stay here again without bothering to look for anywhere else.

I didn't want to leave! Daily housekeeping was really nice to have, especially in a dorm and kitchenettes made early morning breakfasts doable before the daily tours. Kevin was very nice and outgoing. I didn't mind the 15 minute walk into town and enjoyed the peaceful location. Can't wait to visit again!

Place was absolutely fantastic. Perfect distance out of town, easy enough to get a taxi in to town but keeps you away from the loud noises of the city. Very pleased with our experience here and your flexibility with us. Wonderful place, great personalities for owners. Will and have already recommended!
