Location was AWFUL. At least a three kilometer walk into town. It looked really close on a map-it's not. The running was disorganized. The owner doesn't tell you ahead of time that she only accepts cash, so that puts you in a really awkward position the morning you're leaving. It was a very weird place. Cleanliness left something to be desired, to say the least.
A nice and fairly inexpensive B&B. I was generally happy with the service and the complimentary breakfast. However, note that the walk to the city centre is 30+ minutes (though there are fairly frequent local buses stopping close by) and that there is no wi-fi.
A good b and b, i can certainly recommend it.
Mary was the most friendly, hospitable host I have ever met. I have Celiac's Disease and lactose intolerance. She had gluten-free and lactose-free substitutes for everything! She, her husband, and their sweet hypoallergenic dog, Charlie were incredibly friendly. We were given tips about where to go for mass, what to do on St. Patrick's Day, travel and transportation, weather, etc., in a very honest and accurate manner. Amazing stay!
