It is a youth hostel so if you are looking to party.. it may not be the place for you bar closed at 1pm on a saturday night. It provides a quiet good spot to sleep... We weren't pleased that the bar closed that early, but that is the only negative thing i'd say about this place

So perfect place for passing a days in the city or making tourism. Centric place, near of all. The building is new, the personal very pleasant, room and bathroom clean and the breakfast very good. I recommend this hostel for pass your days. If you like the Chinese food, in Rue du Midi 40 you can eat so much for little money. Greetings for Canary Island

Water was too hot, impossible to take a shower. Only the bathroom's switch plug worked, and only with the light turned on.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Atmosphere of REAL HOSTEl. Breakfast is much better than in many expensive hotels. Staff is professional and ready to help you. It is not far from subway, but considering Brussels size, you can reach the downtown in 15 minutes or some by walking.

This was a great hostel. Rooms and bathrooms were clean (I stayed in a four bed room) and spacious. I only stayed there one night (they didn't have space for my other nights) but it was right on the metro so convenient to get to sights in the city. They have a large, cafeteria style breakfast and a bar downstairs. Good value for money. I would stay there again for sure. Worth noting: if you don't have a Hostel International card you pay an extra 3 euros.

Staff was helpful on checkin. However the reception is only open at 8am and we had to rush to catch our intercity train at 9. Thank god the reception opened a bit earlier than the time stated so we managed to check out and got to our train even earlier than planned. The breakfast was nice however i would appreciate if you could label the food. Im a muslim and I almost had the ham luckily my friend came and told me since he had some already.

Staff was friendly, met some interesting people but I was there only for a couple of hours so I didn't have the chance to see much/interact with many people. Good hostel, though. I would totally recommend it/go back!

I highlight two things about this hostel: firstly, the bedrooms and other parts are very very big. Secondly: it sells amazing beers. The rest of things are normal, but not bad. It should have wifi on the bedroom, but nowadays there is not any hostel that got it. I really liked the location, despite you have to walk 1-2 miles to visit the best parts of the city.

The hostel is just located in the metro station Botanique, 3 min walk. It's very easy to reach. The staff is very nice and responsible. I left my stuff in the hostel, and they helped me to send it back by post to Amsterdam. You can definitely trust this hostel. The breakfast is quite good. It will be very good if the kitchen can be open earlier than 12 am. The only problem that I met is the heating system was broken since midnight of my stay. So it was extremely cold at night. >

I couldn't possibly fault the hostel, the breakfast was great, the room was very clean and tidy and the website said that our private room had a shared bathroom, but we were plesantly surprised to find that we had a private bathroom when we arrived. Really helpful staff, very secure and very close to the metro station and it only took us 15 minutes to walk to the city centre

This was one of the better hostels I've stayed in. Instead of a large shared bathroom and shower for the whole floor, each 4-person room has its own bathroom and shower. While I could see where this might cause conflict among guests who decide to get up at the same time, I got up before anyone else and had a more comfortable time getting ready than I usually have in hostels. The wifi was fast and available in the room. The breakfast room had a nice atmosphere although the food was standard.

Altogether a nice stay. BUT: there's no real lounge for guests, unless you go to the bar. Well, there is a "lounge", but it was winter and the room was really cold because it has so many windows. The bar is nice, but I'd feel awkward sitting there without buying anything. And it's not open during the day. Not a big deal really though.
