Great staff very lovely people, clean hostel, highly recommend it, only downfall is that its a pretty solid walk to the main parts of Ao Nang, (around 20mins to the beach, which gets a bit much more than twice in a day)

Really nice hostel, simple yet beautifully designed. Great place to chill out and relax. Not to near but not too far from the centre of Ao Nang. A little bit away from the craziness which is nice. Staff were very helpful when asked for information and put my backpack in storage when I went to Railay for the day. One thing that would make this an even better hostel is some cushions/beanbags in the common area but overall it's a great hostel.

This hostel had a very relaxing, friendly atmosphere. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all very clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Unlike a lot of hostels I've experienced, this one was quiet and I loved that.

Glur was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The bedroom design is perfect, plenty of space to keep your belongings safe at the end of your bed, I also like how each bed has a curtain giving you some privacy while you sleep. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and kept very clean. They offer free WiFi, fruit, tea and coffee. Glur also has a nice little sandwich bar that sells really nice burgers, wraps and drinks. I kept extending my stay but eventually had to move on.....

Glur is a great hostel and they have an excelent resurant too. One of the best i've stayed in Thailand, but it is very expensive. Too expensive in my opinion.

Good hostel! Very friendly owners. Photos on website little misleading (too beautiful) but the hostel is definitely ok. It attracts interesting people, and it's a extremely relaxed atmosphere. Like a weekend house feeling with a big garden. Great bathrooms with big showers. Negative points are the location (too far from the beach), the fact that the mattresses are on the ground (garden=insects) in the dorm, and my feeling that a person with bad intentions could easily enter the terrain/dorms.

Its nice to see a hostel taken care of like it was the owner's home. The Staff is more than helpful with planning activities, they always try to help you save some BAHT with transportation, there is a free laptop for use, a refrigerator, free water, and many other free items to rent (just ask), the food is not the cheapest but exceptional, the location is scenic and quiet away from all the noisy tourists but close enough to walk to without breaking a sweat.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed in ever, and I've stayed in maaany hostels. Really nice and clean, big beds, great helpful staff. A bit far from the beach, but it's just a 12 minute walk. I could go to Ao Nang just to stay here.

I ha chosen this hostel because of its great reviews (when a place has a 98/100 score it's hard to resist). With its lounge area equipped with a plasma TV, DVD, free wifi, free coffee, tea, and fruit, green leafy garden, and clean new rooms the reviews were right to recommend it. The only negative thing I have to say about Glur is that it is a 15-20 minute walk away from the beach and all the commotion so walking back at night can be a bit dodgy.

Glur was incredible! What stands out most is the staff. They were incredibly helpful and completely spoiled us as far as setting up trips, getting discounts, and just having all around know how. It was a tad more than I would have liked to pay for a dorm, but I can validate it. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glur Hostel. Although it is a little ways from the beach, it is worth it to stay here just because of the calmness of the place. There is a really nice common area where we met a ton of awesome people. In it you can find free coffee/fruit/water, a television, and a fridge. Private room was very spacious, basic but nice and clean with hot water and A/C. Double room had two bunk beds rather than a double bed. The restaurant serves great food and that staff is helpful.

Excellent hostel. Clean, spacious and well organized. Recommended if you want to stretch your legs and rest properly. I loved the open-air common area. I have met lots of lovely people there and hope I can come back again. I think the location is actually a bonus, because the area around the beach is extremely busy and I was glad to be able to escape that whenever I needed some peace and quiet. Also, I am very grateful to the staff for all their help. Thanks again!

Best hostel I have stayed in yet, enjoyed having a huge compartment to lock up your backpack and any other bags, as well as how clean everything was. I enjoy the free fruit and the free use of the laptop. If ever back in Ao Nang there is no doubt that is where i would stay
