I have nothing but positive things to say about this hidden little gem in Ao Nang! The owners are genuinely caring and helpful. I loved the location, removed from all the hustle and bustle of town, but still close enough to be convenient. The restaurant on site is amazing! Great food, great people, clean, comfortable... Stay here!! Fantastic value for the price.

Excellent hostel. The host speaks English well and is very helpful. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, retreat-setting with a spacious garden-area and the sounds of nature and the mountains in the background, this might be the place for you. You hear birds singing in the morning, and interesting bugs and frogs chirping and croaking in the night. On-site cafe is nice, plus free fruit, water. Flat screen TV with tons of DVD movies. Ask about their free trips- I doubt other hostels do that.

Thanks for the perfect time in the glue hostel, everetything was clean, safe and comfortable. The sandwiches were very good and not very expensive. There are is only 1 points of interest for gaining more customers and business 1: transport: the distance to the beach might be too long for some people, so (like you mentioned yourself) a shuttle service in de morning and afternoon is perfect. You can always go back by tuk tuk so only for bringing to the beach would be even more perfect.

one of the best hostels i've stayed at so far! the hosts are super friendly, rooms more than comfortable, and its just the perfect place to chill out after a big day at the beach. don't worry about comments that say its a long way from the beach - its still really close to everything, but far enough away that you can get a good night's sleep. if you're hosteling in ao nang or krabi, head to glur for sure!

The hostel is very far away from the beach. It's very clean and the owner is a nice lady. I think if they had a swwimming pool it would be more value for money or they could drop the prices a little bit. You can find a bed in Ao Nang for 300 baht (the same area, far away from the beach).

Very nice hostel, woman in the reception was super nice. We only stayed for one night but would have definitely stayed longer if could. :)

Glur hostel has great facilities and an even greater staff. They are warm and friendly and will help you with any of your needs. The facilities are new and kept very clean. There is a cafe on site, operated by the hostel, with a great variety of food! The location is in a quiet area, but in easy walking distance from all the best that Ao Nang has to offer. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Ao Nang.

The people that run this hostel are VERY nice. Very helpful, can't do enough for you. I had cut my foot open on some rocks and they not only told me about the doctors to sort it out, they drove me to the docs! Excellent facilities, clean, modern, very comfortable, and a very nice atmosphere. Food also very good as the owner used to be a sandwich shop owner...filling food! The only down side to this place is that its about 20 min walk from the centre. 50 baht and 3 mins taxi though.
