Tatiana is not me, it is my grandmother. She likes this hostel very much! Administrator David - was very caring, he help my grandmother, talk with her (this is espesially funny, cause she speak only in russian, but he speak in spanish and english :) ). Nevertheless they found a common language and it was realy good travel! Hostel was very clear and cosy, price was good, it situated not so far from Arc de Triumf and Placa Catalunia, people were friendly and positive, so i definetly recommed it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. Our room was somewhat small, but clean and comfortable. The best features are definately the perfect location and the helpful staff! David was great: he helped us a lot with plenty of useful tips how to get the most out of our 3 day trip to Barcelona. We will definately stay there again next time we visit this wonderful city!

To start with, it's more of an apartment with a homely feel situated far away from the maddening crowd. But having said that, it is within walking distance of all major attractions like La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Agbar tower, Arc De Triomf and beach. Lot of local restaurants and supermarkets nearby. David and Joseph are very helpful, considerate and easy going! Totally good value for money! Would definitely visit again

I really enjoyed staying here as it's an apt in a local residential area- there are 4 rooms so you got to meet some people at breakfast 9-10am everyday. David and Jose being a great host and very helpful on recommending where to go. there's one bathroom and one toilet at the flat- and the place is walkable from Catalunya plaza-30mins and 5 mins from the metro arc de triomphe. very convenient. you need the key to enter the apt with automated door. will def be back if i go back barcelona! thankyou

Goda is actuallly a flat converted into a hostel, so I've felt myself just like the people of the city.

It was calm, but you can hear every noise, every door. I heared the neighbors like if they was in my room. You cannot left your baggage in the hostel after check out, beacause they haven't the reception for 24 hour. Linen haved a very strong soap smell it was disagreable for me. But the staff was excelent and they receive me with a breakfast and they was helpful and friendly

This is a very good place to stay. Staff are very nice. Although it is a 'hide' hostel and hard to find, my friends and I love the place very much. next time I will still go to Barcelona and live in Goda hostel.

We had a good time. The staff is really nice and you can go by metro and bus to everywhere. Plaça Catalunya is about 20 minutes by feet. You can´t do something in the kitchen, the only thing, I didn´t like. But you can go to La Serina, one shop where you can buy microwave-food, good and cheap (in the living room is one microwave). In our room were no tables or something... sometimes bad but I think its okay to stay a few days there without one ;-) Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was absolutely perfect for a young couple going on a vacation together. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach and the center of town. It is very close to 4 metro stops which makes the rest of the city very accessible. The staff was very helpful, gave us maps and directions, and recommended excellent places to eat. My only complaint is that it was difficult to find because it is in an apartment building and there is no sign whatsoever indicating the hostel

A very pleasent stay! Staff is very friendly and helpful, they gave us a map of Barcelona and took a lot of time to explain how to get to all the sights. Also the loction is great, everything can be reached by foot within 20 minutes. The hostel is a bit tricky to find, because it is located in a normal apartment house without any signs in front of it. So you have to make a phone call to get in. For the included breakfast you get toasts, coffee, orange juice, marmelade and butter. Great stay!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here during our two day trip in Barcelona. David is a great host who helped us out BIG TIME with traveling around the city. He provided a map for us and sat down and discussed for a half hour all of the big tourist locations we should visit and how to get to them. The only problem with this place is that there are NO SIGNS on the building. 172 is just an apartment complex and it doesn't look like a hostel from the outside, need a sign to make customers aware.

Lovely little apartment close to the centre of Barcelona. I felt very relaxed, secure and at home here. I would recommend this apartment to people who need just a bed and breakfast and somewhere peaceful to relax at the end of a long day in the city. It is clean and very well kept and the rooms have everything that you need.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean hostel in a perfectly central location, it´s not a very big hostel, so it´s perfect if you look for a quiet comfortable place. The owner is a great guy who can give you advice for sightseeing and also some insider tips, which we appreciated a lot. There is also breakfast included and our stay was absolutely worth the money, we can only recommend this hostel and would definitely come back!

It looks what it is in fact: a cheap, well located, shared-flat-style B&B at 10-15 min from Pl. Catalunya and Sagrada Familia. The room we had might be too warm in summer time but they provide you with funs in case. When the B&B is packed, a 2nd shower would be a good point but anyway you have two toilets in any case. The staff are very kind and ready to help since you book. I had to change the check-in time and everything is easy by text, email or whattsup.

the breakfast could have been served more earlier so that the guests can start their tour earlier. Other than that, its superb... I highly recommend to stay at this hostel.
