Really great atmosphere at Goodbye Lenin. Staff members Kasia and Karola were incredibly welcoming. The event staff Oli and Daisy ensured I had plenty of fun. All in all it was an amazing 5 days in Kraków thanks to the people working and staying at the hostel. Looking forward to coming back!

Great atmosphere, there was something on every night if you wanted to, and great location - right by the jewish quarter.

Great hostel. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a great time. Nice and helpfull staff. Recommended all around.

Excellent spot with great staff, fun bar and bartender, in a great location. Picked this place as the first hostel for a friend who was doing his first back packing trip and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect example of a hostel where it's easy to meet other travelers thanks to the easy going atmosphere, nice bar, and excellent patio area, without the manufactured hotel vibe of some of the bigger and newer hostels. Excellent spot. Plus the location is perfect.

Great atmosphere, from the very first time we entered the hostel.

Good location right next to the Jewish Quarter and not far from the Old Town (short walk). Fun atmosphere, very helpful staff, beds were comfortable and clean! The room was next to the front door and outdoor area, which did make it noisy in the evenings, so not the best for early nights. But everything quieted down and the social scene moved downstairs after 11:30 or so. Lots of nice guests during my stay. Overall a great experience.

This hostel has a lot of atmosphere and everyone there is open to meeting new people! The location is excellent (close to both the city centre and Kazimierz, supermarket around the corner), they have a great garden and organise activities every day of the week.

Those british girls know how to manage a Barbecue.

The hostel is located about 15 minutes walk outside the city center, in between the two main tourist attractions. In addition, there's a shop like 150 m away for groceries. The breakfast was simple. It's not super fancy, but I didn't expect that either. What I disliked was the fact, that my mattress was literally non-existent. The bed was super wobbly and one screw was missing from my locker. In addition the one dorm I used was way too small and had no light, no power socket.

Good News People! New mattresses have arrived :-) Super-thick and super-comfy, they will make your night rest most comfortable (ps. other issues has been tackled as well ;-))

The pool room, bar, and garden area make it very easy to meet other travelers. The staff created a great atmosphere, and were very accommodating. They were even willing to book a tour for us at 3 am. Don't take their recommendations for restaurants though.

Very nice and friendly staff

Nice location, across from a market and a short walk to all the cool bars.

Enjoyed our stay at this hostel the staff were great taking us on nights out trying interesting vodka shots (try the chupa chups shot). Rooms were a bit hot though and the internet a bit patchy otherwise an excellent hostel though providing everything we needed!

Fantastic stay. Group of 9 for a stag weekend brilliantly looked after and loved the hostel. Location was perfect for some great eating and drinking locally and easy access to the old town square. Excellent help in advance of travelling to get activities booked and advice on transport / getting around was very much appreciated too. Highly recommended.

A few issues but management was keen to know about these so maybe fixed in future. Very close to big supermarket & not far from old town. Breakfast was great, second only to one in Sofia. Restrictions on own alcohol after 6pm as there is bar in hostel.

The toilet were always perfectly clean, but the atmosphere in this place was dead

One of the best hostel that I've been. .

Such a great atmosphere! Would definitly go back here, to meet people and to have a good time. Bath and shower were maybe not on top, but totally acceptable. Considering the other good sides of this hostel it is worth it.

Staff were great very helpful! Location is just a short 10 minute walk from the main square in Old Town. The hostel it self is tucked away in the back of an alley which means pretty much no noise from traffic. One downfall is the smoke pit is right next to some of the rooms on the ground floor so if you want to air out your room expect to return to it smelling like smoke.

Thank you for your insight. We will investigate the matter and will try to resolve this smoking issue :-)

Good Bye Lenin was a standard hostel with a good free breakfast and comfy bed. The location was a little out of the way, the staff wasn't especially great, and all-in-all I wouldn't recommend this hostel to a solo traveller looking to meet people. There were enough bathrooms and large lockers available, which was nice! And there is a cheap grocery (Biedronka) right down the street.

Thank you for your opinion. We constantly improve our services. Our dedicated eventmakers now make sure there is the best social vibe in the hostel and not a single solo traveller feels left behind :)
