When the hostel is not even open at 2 in the afternoon to accept checkin...when I am left standing for 2 hours alone in the woods waiting for someone to show up and no one ever showing up...well that is horrible customer service. Out of all hostels I have ever stayed at, the good bye lenin chain is the WORST.When the hostel is not even open at 2 in the afternoon to accept checkin...when I am left standing for 2 hours alone in the woods waiting for someone to show up and no one ever showing up...well that is horrible customer service. This is a fantastic hostel in a beautiful location. It's great if you want to go walking in the mountains as the owner can give you lots of advice and lent us a map too. The hostel itself is really nice and cozy and it has a great atmosphere. The first night we were here we all had a barbeque together and a few beers. There are shops and pubs within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. So nice to get out of the city for a while! This is a fantastic hostel in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a bus ride there but the location is perfect to explore the beautiful mountains. The staff gave us fantastic advice. It was a great hostel to just relax, watch some movies and enjoy the other backpackers company. With a kitchen and WiFi it was perfect for us. We would definately stay there again! This is a lovely place to get out of the city. It's a bit of an effort to get to (write down the directions, as people don't speak english in the town). Staff were friendly and helpful with advice about hikes. The rooms themselves don't lock, but there are under-bed storage lockers. Nice kitchen and lovely garden area to sit outside. This is a lovely place to get out of the city. A very well run hostel. Staff were very knowledgeable and keen to help no matter how many questions I had to ask! It's not often you say the location is excellent when its 5kms out of town but in this case it was a godsend to be out of tourist trap which is Zakopane. Thanks guys!A very well run hostel.
