The hostel isn't far from the train and bus station located next to the river. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm with a bathroom but without a window. Besides the room was quite humid and not very clean. Towels didn't get dry at all. The staff is pretty friendly and helps you with organizing tours e.g. to the rice terraces.

Good price and decent wifi. Otherwise I was unimpressed. We originally booked 1 day & wanted to book another but were told that only private rooms (130 yuan) were available. But I went online & found availability among 35 yuan dorms. They also overcharge for tours; better to go through an agent, & there are plenty in Guilin to choose from. Also it's LOUD at night & it seems unprofessional seeing female staff partying with guests at night in the lobby. Strange hostel...

Very good hostel. Very good location. Do not think to take or not to take a room there. It's really worthing the money and the effort to go there. But be prepared to have shampoo, soap, they dont give sth like this. But in the rest, really nice hostel. Only the trip they offer are quite expensive, so you should find some other place to book a boat trip sth like this. But it's not their fault. The company they work with is quite expensive.

I really enjoy my time in this hostel ! Everything was great, the staff is really helpful and really nice. With this hostel, you can have some tour for Li river and rice terrasse for a good price, everything is included, no surprises, no extra fees ! It's the best hostel I have ever been in. The only little problem was that we had a room really noisy because of the street and roosters evrey morning. However, I recommend this hostel for backpackers !

The location of the hostel was very good, both close to interesting places in the city, as well as close to the Railway Station and Bus Terminal. The food is very reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Happy was able to help me out a lot with directions and travel tips. Thank you so much!

There are only two small drawbacks about this place: My 4-bed ensuite dorm had no windows and there was no WiFi in my room. But everything else was really fantastic so I would definitely return to this hostel! Hint: There's a girl in the staff called "Happy" (the one that doesn't work and act like a normal guest, can't be unseen). Get in touch with her if you want to spend a few hours having a funny chat!

The common area was really great and so was the staff. Dumpling and hotpot night were a lot of fun! Only downside was the dorm room. It was a bit stuffy and humid. I'd definitely return but would probably go for another room as they seemed much nicer.

I highly recommend the green forest hostel. I really enjoyed my time there. The staffs are amazing and the whole atmosphere was just great. I felt really comfortable even if my room wasn't that great. I would definitely go there again:)
