Good little hostel in Singapore. Amazing staff! The rooftop could use some love and it would really add character to the place, it'd be a lovely place to meet people as it is there not a lot of opportunity for that. Close to a good food spot and a ten minutes walk to two subway stops which are easy to use during the day and taxis are always available at night.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was phenomenal and morning service was so pleasant-- a great way to start each day that we really appreciated. The location was a little hard to find at night, and taxi drivers seemed to have trouble determining where to drop us off. It would have been desirable to have had a few more large lockers available. Baggage storage was convenient, but seemed insecure since nothing was locked and all guests had access to the luggage storage area.
Amazing Service: Always willing to help, to show the points of interest in Singapore, the best way on how we could get to those places. Regarding the location, is about 10 minutes walking until the subway. There is a market open 24 hours a day just right on the street in front of the hostel where we can find and try different types of dishes. In terms the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms is very good and well made. This are very hygienic places.

Nice place to stay with very friendly and welcoming staff that were able to give great advice f. Good facilities and breakfast. Excellent WiFi and hot showers. I didn't feel that the communal areas were particularly great for meeting others and hanging out though.
I enjoyed and hope to stay here in April on way home.
A good place to stay for a few days - excellent and helpful staff, social and awesome breakfast - although the location is a bit of from mIn attractions in Singapore.

The staff were the best thing about this hostel, they were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too. The location isn't great, but it's still close enough to walk to most places. The room was tiny and provided nowhere to store luggage. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The bathrooms always smelled a bit and weren't maintained very well, but it was adequate. I would define this place as a typical youth hostel. It's nothing special, but it's alright.
Staff is amazing, easygoing and very professional at once. They will help you to sort out activities, maps, recommend places to eat... The lot! 10/10 for the staff! Cleanses of the toilets were questionable. Aircon in the rooms set on "Ice Age". Otherwise an alright hostel with a pretty cool rooftop for socializing. Loated between two metro stops, next to the bus, so easy acess to CBD and stuff. But yeah, a little bit outside the city center. Free wifi, fast computers.
Very nice hostel, nice staff helpfull and lots of smile. Recomended hostel to all of you. Good breakfast. Will visit here again in next trip. Thank you Green Kiwi. Greeting from Indonesia...
Great staff and good value for your money makes this hostel one worth coming back to again...thanks
The outside showers were what made me fall in love with the facilities of the hostel, and the kaya and toast in the morning came second to that. Other than that, some of the faculty were a bit stand-offish while the others had outstanding character, the location was decent but not spectacular. Being next to Boon Keng was a bit more convenient than Lavender (other than getting to the hostel from the airport), and lastly- the rooms were IMMACULATE! I felt very comfortable and at ease in the room.
Green Kiwi is a great place to stay. It is close to two different subway lines and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice deck on the roof that helps the atmosphere of the hostel. Overall, it's a great place!!
Staff were extremely helpful. Even let us us their mobiles to make local calls. Beds were really comfy. Girls dorm was lacking in space slightly but was sociable and fit our needs. Free breakfast was fab. As much as you wanted - toast, fruit, jams etc. Fast internet and computer were a bonus. We had to move to their other location near the Sultan Mosque due to lack of space (for extra nights not booked). This one is not as good as it's basically one huge dorm and only 2 showers.
Very nice staff! Breakfast was good with toast, fruits and tea/coffee! The bedrooms were comfortable. I just think that bathrooms could be cleaned more times a day. Showers were good, very strong! :)
The walls are chockers with signs, but they at least provide accurate information like reception opening hours -- the reception clerk said in her chirpy briefing that reception opens "at 6 am". I forfeited my key deposit since hanging around until the real 7.30 am opening would have put me at the airport too late. The rooftop garden is dead shrubbery, and there's no other common area. As a long-term Singapore visitor (10+ years), I can say there are same-quality places closer to the MRT.
Easy to access from Boon keng station, get a good sleep here for tired travellers=)
Nice roof top terrace to relax! Yummy brekky! Stayed there twice...Perfect location to get to places. Helpful staff! Wifi worked in rooms. Some other guests didn't seem to know how to flush the toilet but that's not the hostels fault!
Green kiwi hostel was wonderful! Great location, really friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast every morning and completely free wifi included in the price would love to come and stay here again!!
Staff were amazing and extremely helpful with sightseeing tips and tour advice. Breakfast was very good too, especially the coffee!
