Decent hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Doris really goes out of her way to be nice and helpful. Location is good and there are useful tips on things to do all over the walls.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really easy to get to the hostel from the airport via MRT which is also very cheap. This place is always clean and tidy with good facilities. Just don't rely on good wifi as it can be a bit slow at times.

Staff were excellent, welcome and friendly the entire time. Roof top is a nice place to sit and relax. Showers and toilets and rooms were extremely clean, room was a little small but bearable. No atmosphere though which was a let down but I guess that depends on the people staying there so not really the hostels fault.

Honestly by reading the reviews before, I expected more, but generally okay. Staff was alright but not overly friendly. Way to get there was leading only along constructions

The staff were very friendly, amazing Filipinas who even gave me tour of the hostel. I have always been staying at hostels in Europe, but this by far is the best, cleanliness, who walks around barefoot? It was a just challenge looking for the hostel since the signboard wasnt lighted at night, but other than that, it might be a small hostel, but you get more than what you paid for.

The staff, rooftop terrace, and breakfast are very nice! Beds are okay, bathrooms were quite dirty when I was there- super sad because the rest is so nice!

The Hostel was ok, dorm rooms were quite small and cold. The rooftop lounge is a nice place in the evenings though it can be a little noisy as the Hostel is next to a big street. 10 min walk to the next trainstation.

Wow, the staff was so amazing and friendly and very helpful, even let me use their phone to make a call! The rooftop looks very nice, I'm sure its amazing when the hostel is full of people. free WiFi and use of computer, free basic breakfast, take as much as you want and no problem with sleeping in, just be careful about tiny ants in your jam... But generally it seemed like a very friendly and good hostel!

Super hostel.

Staff are really friendly and really can't compliment them enough. The problem is, the facility itself is so old and rundown. The bed sheets are old as well and smell. Don't even get me started on the bathroom which reeks of urine. The location isn't even all that convenient as you have to walk about 10 min to get to the MRT and then from there travel a bit to get to downtown. Can't say I'd stay here again. Staff are great though!

Green Kiwi is an excellent base to visit Singapore.

This is definitely à place to stay in Singapore. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great. If you want to meet people that's the ideal hostel to do it. With the sofas on the rooftop you can spend time chilling out with other guests. Ask a room in the new part of the hostel (the new annexe). The facilities are very better and the rooms too. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Simple but delicious.

Good staff and clean and effective hostel. Friendly atmosphere. No lockers in the dorms.

The place was just Ok, I really find it hard to believe that this is the best hostel in Singapore. From the reviews that I had seen for this place, I was expecting more from the staff. Each time I asked a question about how to get around or what to eat, they'd reply shortly or careless that I didn't understand the names of streets, stations or dishes that were not in English but in a local language. The rooms were clean but the washrooms not as much. I think they need to clean them more often.

This hostel has friendly and helpful staff. It was very clean and I felt safe eventhough there are only small lockers in the lobby. It has a nice rooftop garden.

Value for the money was excellent but could have been more cleaner. No big light in the rooms and not enough space for luggage in my room, not enough plug-ins for all people in the room. Location is pretty good. close to the metro so easy to go to other places.

I thought the hostel was great. It was right next to a food court which was nice. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the MRT stop, not to terrible. People were nice. Breakfast was light but good.
