Green Kiwi is an excellent base to visit Singapore.

This is definitely à place to stay in Singapore. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great. If you want to meet people that's the ideal hostel to do it. With the sofas on the rooftop you can spend time chilling out with other guests. Ask a room in the new part of the hostel (the new annexe). The facilities are very better and the rooms too. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Simple but delicious.

The place was just Ok, I really find it hard to believe that this is the best hostel in Singapore. From the reviews that I had seen for this place, I was expecting more from the staff. Each time I asked a question about how to get around or what to eat, they'd reply shortly or careless that I didn't understand the names of streets, stations or dishes that were not in English but in a local language. The rooms were clean but the washrooms not as much. I think they need to clean them more often.

This hostel has friendly and helpful staff. It was very clean and I felt safe eventhough there are only small lockers in the lobby. It has a nice rooftop garden.

Value for the money was excellent but could have been more cleaner. No big light in the rooms and not enough space for luggage in my room, not enough plug-ins for all people in the room. Location is pretty good. close to the metro so easy to go to other places.

I thought the hostel was great. It was right next to a food court which was nice. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the MRT stop, not to terrible. People were nice. Breakfast was light but good.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The staff was lovely, always very eager to help and to make you feel at "home". Definitely worth the stay - and I'll be coming back for sure!

My second stay here; great spot to hang out in Singapore.

I would not recommand this hostel as it is really dirty everywhere, you don't have lockeres to protect your things and the rooms not even have a big light so you can see yourself in the mirror. Worst stay ever.

Green Kiwi is a superb hostel for exploring the sights of Singapore. All members of the staff and friendly and extremely helpful if you have any queries about the hostel or surrounding areas. Beds are comfortable and showers are decent. The breakfast is FANTASTIC whilst there is one of the best Hawker markets in town across the road (fantastic chicken wings and popiah).

Definitely a bit cramped with a lot of people in a small place, but good for the money.

Wowww. My stay at this hostel took our holiday to a next level. Its very near to Lavender and Boon Keng MRT stations. From Lavender MRT station ,you can take Bus no 145 to eminent plaza. Its diagonally across the street from there. The staff were really helpful. Especially the two persons who prepare awesome breakfast for everyone. Their cheerful attitude enlightened the mornings. They gave information about all the places , gave free maps. Rooms were superb , Toilets and showers were clean.

Decent hostel.. however.. I found the entryway/hallways to smell strongly of sweaty feet, the bathrooms were in need of serious daily cleaning, lack of individual access to an electrical outlet in bunk (in my case there was none available to charge my phone overnight), WIFI did not work in room, personal lockers were plastic and extreamly small, rooms were quite cramped, and credit cards are not accepted. Staff was super sweet though, and breakfast was fantastic.. Would look elsewhere next time

This is a great hostel, the staff are very friendly and really welcoming. The big rooftop is a great place to chill out. Perfect if you don't mind taking the train to the main attractions.
