When checking out early there is nonone to receive the key, they ask for a 10 dollar key deposit, as no one is there they keep the deposit, such a bussiness.

The rooms need to be aired out more often or the bed sheets washed better. Smell like arm pit in the bed.

The hostel is good, breakfast is very good! The rooms are very hot though and the air circulation seems quite bad.

amazing hostel! first of all, people treat you as friend instead of customer, it's amazing thing for those who are travelling. delicious breakfast free, true coffee, fast wifi and near two MRT station. if you are going to singapore, stay at there.

Although out of town the hostel was in a good location as the MRT makes the city easily accessible. Reception staff were really helpful and breakfast was toast and fruit, good for what you pay! We were in a 10 bed female dorm and it was one of the smallest rooms we've stayed in, there is space to put bags under the beds but other than that not much room to move about. Toilets and showers were clean and in good condition. Overall a really good hostel!

You're living in one of the most expensive cities in the world, in a hostel that costs less than 15USD a night: count your blessings. It's a clean, safe and cosy place, in a real comfy area.

One of the best Hostel I have been in Asia. First place where they actually served good breakfast. Lot's of fruit, stuff to put on your toast and fresh made coffee! Staff was very friendly and helpfull, the rooftop is great. Rooms and beds are comfy and bathrooms are also very good. Some people say it's a bit of a walk to the metro but this place is definitly worth to do some extra steps!!

Green kiwi is THE place to stay in Singapore. Everything about the place is awesome - staff were so friendly and helpful about things to do & how to get there, bed & bathrooms were clean, breakie was yummy and the wifi works great. They also have multiple computers for people to work on. Close to bus stops and train stations making it easy to go everywhere. If you plan to bus/train a lot ask about a tourist pass at the station, super worth it. Overall one of the best stays we've had so far! :)

The hostel isn't very centrally located, but the staff is helpful and nice, and socializing is easy at the rooftop at night. Good place to have some drinks and meet up with people. Would recommend if you can afford a 10 minute trip out of the downtown core.

Really nice place to stay, staff were nothing but helpful and is really close to the tube station to get everywhere

Amazing staff who were great with directions and would hangout with guests on the rooftop terrace. Awesome breakfast and cheap beer (3.50) and the roof is a great place to meet fellow travelers! Great for solo backpackers with clean bathrooms and showers! There are no common lights in the rooms so sometimes it's a bit dark/hard to get around.

Great breakfast! Not really great common area, although the rooftop is nice. Helpfull staff. Room was too small en beds too, not enough space to put your stuff. Location is ok but you need MRT to get into town or taxi at night. Met nice people here. Already recommended this place a couple times. Good value for money considering Singapore is so expensive.

PROS: The showers are big and have overhead facets. The common area has good computers. Wifi was good, but spotty if many people are on their phones. Breakfast was free: toast, Nutella, jam, coffee, watermelon and other fruit. The reception was open late. CONS: The 12 person dorm was filthy, the dust under the bed was so thick you could roll your fingers through it. The refundable key deposit was $10 and the receptionist would try to scam everyone and tell everyone that they didn't pay it.

A nice place to stay, for the price. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. It's just a bit of a trek to get anywhere - 10 minute walk just to the train station.

This place was awesome, I can't speak more highly of it! The staff is awesome, greeting you with fresh coffee at breakfast and answering any questions you might have about how to get around and things to do in the city. One night they even helped me order delivery pizza. It also has an amazing atmosphere that makes making new friends as easy as asking someone for a cig. They sell beer for $3.50, which is perfect for playing drinking games on their roof top deck with your new found friends.

I had a great time at the Green Kiwi!! The nreakfast was amazing, the staff was great and had good advices for activities. There were also computers available. The only negative thing wad that it got quite hot in the 10-dorm at night and my bed was on the opposite side of the air con. Some additional fans would be nice.

Awesome hostel! They had so many services like laundry and printing and they made everything as convenient as possible for guests staying in the hostel! It was very clean and air conditioned, with great showers. Thank you for a great stay!
