Good place. I think by Singapore standards, it might even be great. But by global standards, it is merely good. Location isn't great (it's not central, nor is it right next to an MRT stop), common facilities are small (but adequate). and there isn't anything special about the atmosphere, like the great places have.

Access by taxi is dangerous. Access up stairs is impractical. Dorm is too small for six people. Odour is unbearable. Very unhelpful.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay at the green kiwi hostel. We checked in the evening and were told there were a few late arrivals in the dorm,so we asked if we could go by the window so we weren't disturbed. The staff said no. So at 1:45am when the 2 late arrivals decided to turn up they woke us up by switching the lights on, unpacking and talking loudly for over an hour. Not great for us as we had to get up early for a trip. The rooms and bathrooms are basic. Would not stay here again!

I booked a private room for two person as a staycation. The room was clean and the bedding smell fresh. Air condition was in great condition too. The staff maintains the cleanliness of the bathrooms quite well. WiFi wasn't strong enough (on our mobiles) but other travelers seem to be surfing quick enough on the common computers provided. Enjoyed the simple but hearty breakfast.

- This hostel was great!! - Very safe with locked door after 10pm with key code access -Great breakfast that goes until at least 1pm.. (basic but good) which means you can sleep in. - Dorms are always locked which made me feel super safe about my things. - Staff are amazing; they know everything about Singapore and can give you advice for everything - Location - Bus stop is 20 m away! (if you are too lazy to walk to the MRT this bus drops you off!) Can't wait to come back here!

Thanks to the staff for being friendly. Good hostel. Need to sort out your wifi. Music was good in the morning and afternoon but Kiss 92 was terrible.

Fantastic staff that really like their job. They were more than happy to recommend things to see and do. Free breakfast of coffee/tea with unlimited fruit and toast with peanut butter, jam, Nutella, and delicious green stuff? Closest subway station is about ten min walk. Bathrooms aren't the cleanest. Rooms quite crowded with everyone's bags in there. For singapore, decent value, I think...
