piece of green chewing gum left on my bed which was disgusting, had to get rid of it myself so i didn’t get charged for it, made me question if the sheets for me to make my bed lying there were even clean. rules not followed or checked up on, girl in my room was on phone all night shouting and laughing and no one to complain to about it, woman at desk got kinda mad at me cause i couldn’t speak french? inaccessible property, roasting hot, unable to find self catering and my insulin overheated.

I think the property is very nice, nice rooftop to sit and nice little courtyard. I did not find this hostel very social at all due to the demographic of people put in my room. I still think it is very strange when hostels allow a 21 year-old female, such as myself to share a room with middle-aged men. Please start a screening process and allocate bedrooms better. I would not recommend if you are travelling solo and a female

For 55€ a night, you should be able to afford multiple fans per room, just like hostels in much cooler Amsterdam, and especially in extreme heat waves. The “mattress” shouldn’t be made of plastic and heat up at night, and beds should be made by workers and not guests. Definitely not worth more than 20€ for the service.
