Only stayed for one night but very useful staff and good clean facilities. The only slight down side was noisy room.

Loved this place. It was very peaceful, had a great feeling and the staff were probably the most helpful and nicest staff I've ever experienced in any hostel.

Decent hostel, good staff and a clean room. It tends to get noisy at night in and around the hostel, but Id stay here again.

I feel like this place needs a few updates. I know it's supposed to feel like a retro guesthouse, but there were times when I felt uncomfortable like a mirror in the bathroom. The light over the bed was also a little uncomfortable because it had no cover. Also I feel like the washing machine should be in another location instead of in a bathroom just in case someone wants to use it and someone else wants to use the shower.

I sent all postcards to 品川宿 during this trip. And the staffs help to receive all. もう一度ありがどうございます. The structure of room is well designed. The double-decker bed was placed on 畳. This hostel is located in old TOKKAIDO. The street has sentimental appeal in the evening. The railway level crossing is very near to hostel. We can see the train passing by almost every 2 minutes. KITASHINAGAWA is a small railway station. Only ordinary trains will stop.

The staff was very friendly and nice to talk to, they were always helpful and could suggest and explain where to go. The guest house is close to one of the major stations of Tokyo which can basically get you anywhere. The area is busy during the day, but as you approach the hostel you will find yourself in a cosy and quiet local street with a convenience store right outside if you need something.
