Good atmosphere. The guest house didn't give towel, breakfast. But still a nice place to stay.

The reviews I read were correct about the cleanliness. Wasn't to bad but did have a stain on the pillow case. Very small but the best location for my travel arangements

My stay in the good care of Taka and the rest of the gang was excellent! I felt really at home there and the visit to the flee market at the horse race track was splendid as well as the amazing local cherry blossom festival just 10 min walk from the hostel. It is a central location in a nice local area perfect place to discover Tokyo.

Clean, close to the Shinagawa Station, good staff. The rooms are small like in the rest of Japan, I would stay there again!

I chose Shinagawa-shuku as i had an early morning flight from Haneda Airport, so this place filled its purpose for me. The staff were friendly and helpful (speaking Japanese or English). Just be careful of the check-in times as the front reception is not always occupied.

Even though we only stayed here for a single night (and our flight was a very, very late arrival, so we didn't arrive to Guest House Shinagawa until 11:30pm!), the staff was friendly and kind. They help us with our bags to our room, and the futons were really comfortable! The room was a good size, not very big, but definitely not small for our taste.. was cozy and comfortable. The local convenience store was just outside for snacks and drinks too. I'd love to stay here again.

Great hostel overall, it is located close (8-10min by walking) to one of Tokyo's biggest metro hub. The staff was very friendly, they kept my room even though I arrived late and even upgraded me in a single room for my 3 night stay even though I booked a dorm. My room had every essentials: comfortable Japanese style tatami, heater/air-con, extra blanket, bed light, plugs, wi-fi connection, etc. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Tokyo.

The hostel was very good, staff were nice and friendly and the single room I was in is very comfortable. If you plan on staying central tokyo only, the hostel is in a good location, middle of one side of the yamanote line. Pleased with my stay.

The room and sheets that we were given were dirty. There was no electrical outlet in the room. More importantly, the room we were given could not fit 2 beds in any physical way, yet we paid for it
