Stefano is a kind and helpful host. This is simply a large apartment with three bedrooms, a good kitchen and a large typical apartment bathroom (not at all hostel-style) which was nice. It is water-front with great views and 50 metres from the Dinegro metro station. Very convenient. Washer-dryer in apartment. Only hassle was lack of an elevator to go up 3 floors.

This hotel is right near a metro which is good for getting around because its not the closest walking distance away from the city. The walk from the main train station is okay. They have a laundry which is convenient.

This is a no-frills hostel, it is clean and the location is good, considering that the centre of Genoa can get quite dodgy, this area is safe and steps away from the subway stop. Each room has a tablet pc for the guests to use, which is a really nice touch! The hosts were not there to welcome us, but instead left a series of notes that led to the key, I personally didnt mind, it was sort of a scavanger hunt ;) All in all, we were pleased, good value for money.

Nice cosy place, enjoyed my stay here. The guy that looks after the place is really nice and helpful. It definitely is no frills though, the kitchen is very bare - you've only got a microwave. No handwash or hand towel provided in bathroom. Breakfast is fine for the price you're paying. Good free wifi and a tablet computer is provided. Washing machine but no dryer - there is space to hang your clothes outside.

The hostel is located right next to the innercity autobahn which is VERY noisy, but with earplugs its alright. If you chose the hostel because of the kitchen (like us) you shouldnt, since it is not allowed to use the kitchen. Still, the flat is cleaned every day and the staff is nice, allthough they only show up once a day. Breakfast is not worth calling breakfast.
