Roberto is probably the most committed hostel manager in the entire universe. With plenty of character the hostel is mostly recommended for backpackers.

We had a great time at this hostel. The location is a little out of the way, but Roberto more than makes up for it!

The Scandinavian boys from the reception are a little bit caotic (overslept breakfast time etc.). And for me this hostel is not HI standard - I travelled last year in Brasil and the HI's there are a lot better! But if you do not mind this - this hostel is certainly a good place for having partys all night long!

Any faults of this hostel can be overlooked in light of the excellence of the ambience and the staff. Although some maintenance is in order, it is not so bad as to be considered dirty, just a little rundown and in need of paint. The staff is the best that I have ever encountered in any hostel...they are friendly, helpful, always available, and always willing to help you have an excellent time. The hostel provides some things that I have never seen being provided before, such as bicycles, etc.

This is a great place the owner roberto and the staff the swedish guys! but its sooo but so dirty is unhealty its great having party every night but at the end a business is a business and you have to keep with the HI hostels standars

Great atmosphere to this place, has lots of fun. Staff didnt wake up for breakfast on last day, so went without. Not very reliable, but a good laugh.
