HI was a great place to stay. It was close to the market and to pub street. The facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. If you hire a tuktuk from the hostel try to get Jake and if you need reccomendations on the best way to see Angor Wat, seek his advice prior to booking.

Staff are very helpful! They have their own tuktuks and is located perfectly across the bridge from the market. Rooms are clean though a little worse for wear, but is great value for money. I would recommend going on their snack tour! A real insight into Cambodian life and try things you don't find in the main tourist spots!

Incredibly friendly, surprisingly high quality beds, they even got me a cab and negotiated the price when I had to leave early. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at HI Siem Reap. Everybody working there was so nice and really efficient ! Stayed in a 6 beds dorms and was really happy : the beds are large and comfortable. Highly recommending this place.

I had the best time at my stay at HI Siem Reap. The staff was amazing! The security guard was there through the night every night and the location was awesome: just over the small river by all the night markets from pub street. I hope to come back one day!

The location is quiet good, only 3 minutes walk to night market and bar street. And it is very quiet, without noise.

Actually, I was surprising when I know that the hotel is just 2 minutes walk to the new night market. Good place to stay!

Great hostel in Siem Reap. I've got nothing to complain about. The staff was awesome. Always willing to help with everything. The people of Cambodia are so pleasant & hospitable.

They claim to be able to book what you need "When can I book the boat trip?" - "Whenever you want." - "Ok, I want to book now." - "Ah that's not possible, we don't have a driver." - "There are enough Tuktuk drivers in Siem Reap." - "Ah well the boat company we work with is not available either." Another incident I paid extra (in advance!) on my way to the airport for a stopover for balloon-ride which was not operating that afternoon... CALL AHEAD and ask before you charge for the detour.

I´ve used Hostelworld for years and never cared about writing reviews. But my stay at HI Siem Reap was so pleasant that I had to write it! Even though I didn´t stay there the first night because I missed my flight they still reserved the room for me and didn´t charge it when arrived the next day. Everything is nice at the hostel, the character, the facilities, the staff! Elizabeth and her team are really worried about their guests satisfaction. A+++

Good, cheap choice to explore Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. We had a long power cut but candles were quickly provided so all in all it added up to the atmosphere ;)

Great hostel. Perfect location within walking distance of the night market and Pub Street. Lots of common spaces and cheap drinks and snacks for purchase. The private room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were super friendly. It would be nice to have a small breakfast included though, or at least coffee before 6am for those heading off to Angkor Wat for sunrise!
