Maybe, next time, I would like to choose another hostel........

The security is _really_ weird: to get into the dorms, you need to buzz-in. However, the front desk can't see who's buzzing in, so they just let in whoever hit the buzzer. This also means that if they're busy or away from the desk, you can't do anything but wait. It was also really hard to find my room at first, because the signs on the doors have no association with the room numbers at all.

It was awesome!! I love the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy theme! My dorm was really nice and modern, very clean. The hostel also offers free padlock rentals and free sunglass rentals - really useful. All in all it was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

This hostel was fantastic! The staff were so nice and helpful and the atmosphere at night was great. The breakfast was amazing, and free if you stay more than four nights. It is right by the river and I would definitely stay here again. The security wasn't the greatest because my friend had money stolen out of her locked metal locker from a really creepy guy who didn't even have a room at the hostel, but other than that it was a superb hostel.

This is a great hostel, it's actually one of the nicest ones I've stayed at in all of Europe. I only have one complaint. The lockers are not very sturdy. I had mine locked with a pad lock & someone bent the door outwards and stole all of my money out of my purse. Make sure you have two locks (1 for the locker and 1 for your bag) even with that happening I'd still recommend this hostel. It's very clean, great breakfast, free wifi & very close to the train station.

We're really happy with our stay at HOG hostel. We arrived a day later as we missed the train from Amsterdam and the lovely girl at reception let us check in straight away at 10am even though the check in starts from 2pm! That was so nice of her & we really appreciated it! Not only that,she didn't even charge us for the previous night & I was sure they will as we emailed them a bit too late, I thought. Breakfast included was really decent. Overall, excellent value for money & more! Thanks HOG!!

Good hostel, within walking distance of lots of interesting things, and very close to an S-bahn station. Perfectly clean, comfortable, etc. Not as many lockers in the room as beds, and the lockers were also sort of inconveniently placed, but that wasn't a big deal.

Best hostel I've stayed during my trip around Europe. And the cheapest! Great room and bathrooms (very clean), baggage lockers for free (under your bad), access to internet (they also have computers for those like me who didn't bring one, for a joust price!). The staff is great, they are always prepared to help. And localization is perfect, near the main stations and buildings, near the free tour of the city...

I had reserved a single private Ensuite at this Hostel. Instead, I am directed to a 3 bed private room with shared bathroom! This was very disappointing. However, after discussing with the desk about the situation, I was given a double private Ensuite for the same price! In general, the staffs are very helpful except one of them who is usually angry. Those who have food with themselves should know that this hostel lack a private kitchen with fridge and microwave. This was a problem for me...

for me is the best hostel in Berlin confortable, cleen, staff super kind lovely and professional good position, nice atmosphere

I'm going to come back when I stay in Berlin at the end of May. You have great place there :)

Space between beds in mixed dorm is large enough, so I still can have some private moment. And I like the atmosphere in common room, music is good and I feel very relax. Staff are very nice too.

Perfect location, good facilities and small price. If you\'re planning to visit Berlin and you don\'t wanna waste time in metro or bus, I recommend you this one.

Nice place with a good bar to relax. Very impressed by bathrooms. I stayed in the 50 bed dorm room and it was much better than I expected. It really a series of connected rooms and they're very spacious. They need bigger sheets for the beds.

Lounge is really great, and breakfast rich! The up stairs are more similar to a cheap hotel instead, not really an hostel atmosphere but they are okay we stayed in a double and that was okay. The corridor is really noisy, and door can\'t keep all these noises out. But it\'s a small thing, all in all. Thanks for hosting, Heart of Gold! Cheers from Italy.

Best Hostel in Berlin!

Me and my friend are not very satisfied with the hostel. Location and security are great, but there are other things that they need to improve. We saw 3 members in the reception, one of them was ok but the other two were rude. We saw a fight at the bar and the staff was very rude, the guy with a covert started to tell off in front of other clients. The facilities has a lot to improve, you don't have a hang in the bathroom, a place to charge your phone in beds. The bathroom floor was always wet

Great hostel in a great location would definitely stay again if I go to Berlin again.

The best hostel i've ever stayed at!! Don't hesitate to book here, it's clean, big, cheap, excellent location, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!!
