An interesting hostel to say the least. Where to start. I think you would like this hostel if you: want to stay in the most touristy area in la. I think you would hate this hostel if you: like good hostels Just to list some faults: the overnight manager at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude, he would not even make eye contact with us and would snarl at you if you asked him of anything. No atmosphere at all, the place stinks, and my pot was stolen from my "private" room. Avoid if you enjoy fun.

Great location , affordable and clean bathrooms. there is a bit of an old stuffy feeling to the hostel, nothing that new carpets or at least opening the windows couldnt help with. You pay for what you get. i would stay there again

I had a great time in the hostel , highly recommended if you are travelling by yourself . The location is excellent for visiting the main attractions in L.A.

The Hostel itself was really great. The staff was nice and very helpfull. But don´t forget your passports! We were almost not able to check in, because we had California ID´s (which we have, because we are in the US for one semester) but since it´s not allowed for US residents to stay there you have to proof that you are not a US citizen! We had just one bad thing which was a pretty loud fan (outside) but it kind of was to loud to have the window open during the night.
