Hospedaje Corina Reviews

Generally a good all round hostel. The only issues to stop me giving excellent reviews where 1) it was abit noisy, we was in the downstairs twin room and there was slot of noise from people moving around upstairs, going up and down the stairs, the front door, voices from the kitchen; Often waking us up quite early. Also as it was a proper family home you often felt like you was in the way. It would also have been nice to have had easier access to some glasses and plates etc. Felt abit intrusive

We were not able to lock our own room, which we would have liked to do.

I cannot rate this place since I never slept there. When we arrived, we discovered that Corina made overbooking on our reservation so she sent us to another hostel which she did not know and never been to and was expectedly much worse. As an example, there were flies all over the place and the bathroom had not been cleaned in ages. The best thing came when we had to pay the difference between both hospedajes since Corina decided not to take care of it and there was no breakfast included.

Puerto Montt isn't really beautiful, the hostel's neighbourhood neither hut the hostel is really nice and clean. Good breakfast.

We werde there just for one night, but it was a nice stay in this Time. The beds were comfortable and the owner was very friendly when we found her at the other adress nearby!

We loved our stay at Hospedaje Corina. It was a quiet hostel with good facilities and a great owner. The only complaint would be the location, as it is a 15 minute walk to the centre, but this was not a problem for us as we like walking and it was in a safe area with many people walking at night!

Feels like a homestay. Everything was really clean and staff was friendly!

We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed it. It was good to stay in someone's home as a change from the normal hostels we've been in. Corina was lovely even though we were speaking different languages! The facilities were fine and everything was clean and in working order.

Very cozy, clean and cute hostel...if anything it's really a B&B. The beds were comfy and it's in a quiet, relaxed part of town so we were able to get a couple nights of good rest. We were attended to by Corina and her niece which gave it an authentic family atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and stay again if and when we come back to Puerto Montt.

This is the cleanest and most luxurious hostel I have stayed in. I was delayed in checking in by the fact that there was no response to the buzzer at the front gate. After walking to nearby Casa Perla I learned that the owner of Hospedaje Corina lives in a different location. The owner of Casa Perla escorted me to her home. Then the owner of Hospedaje Corina escorted me to my room in her hostel. Only cash payment was acceptable, so I had to replenish my supply of Chilean money.

Felt like home

Due to a bus and border problem, we arrived in P.to Montt at 3am and Senora Corina was so kind to check us in at that time of the night and was very welcoming despite the late hour!! The place is very nice and breakfast was hearty and good! It was a shame we could only stay for one short night!

Room was cold, waited outside for 20 mins with no answer to door before going to the other address and finding the owner there!
