We arrived at Hostal Da Vinci to be told that no rooms were available and we were being given a room in another hostel, which was 5 mins walk away (not in front of the Catherdral which is what we wanted). Upon arrival to Hostal Dalis, we were given a room that was a twin bedroom (we had booked a double), and it had a very bad smell (supposedly cleaning products). The option of another room was given for an additional fee, which was unacceptable. Very poor customer service/hostal management.

it smells aweful in the toilette. rest is ok! :-)

Amazing location with balcony literally across from the cathedral.

The room was small, but cheap. Best location ever.

Perfect location! You could walk to all the main sights, and it was close to public transportation. There are may excellent restaurants within walking distance as well. We loved the staff. Ivan and Maria were amazing.

We passed only two nights here. The room was functional, the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was situated on the street side and Sevillans like to make rumour till late in the night. But nevertheless we slept well. Nearby is a very good bar for breakfast, and an exellent tapas bar/restaurant. And the Cathedral is in front of you! In short, we are very content that we found this hostal. Francesco + Carla Francissen, (NL)

The location was fantastic! The rooms are clean and shower had hot water. The staff was very unfriendly though.

The best in Andalusia

Location was fine but hostress not at all and we paid 60 euros in May to have a room at the first floor with a single window in a tiny court and no light in the room plus very noisy. I won\'t recommend it to my friends.

Lo mejor sin duda la situación, es un hostal a muy buen precio y con gente muy amable. No hemos tenido ningún problema en la estancia, es de agradecer.

This place should only be stayed at if you want an extremely central location. The staff had not received our booking when we arrived eventhough we had booked 2 days in advance- they were also extremely rude. We had to ask for the flciker for our TV and the remote for our telly- as they did not give them to us upon check-in. The place is also LOUD, we could hear the concierge taling to a mate from 2 floors up with our door closed. If this hotel was not next to the cathedral it would be bankrupt.

This is a proper hotel, not a backpackers hostel. The room was good enough and very clean, with ensuit facilities. The location is superb, right in the middle of the city centre (please notice that if you arrive to the Prado San Sebastian bus station, you have to walk, as the maps are a bit misleading) We only missed the chance of having a microwave or a kettle available (the personnel couldn\'t provide hot water to fill our flask). Overall, this hotel provides good value for money.

Room was a bit stuffy and smelled of smoking.

unbeatable location in front of cathedral. expect no further. seville is a lovely city but boring as a whole. i would rec 1 full day max

incredible location and very nice rooms

We didn't stay at Hoetl DaVinci in Seville because when we arrived there the man at the front desk told us that our reservation was changed to another hotel because the Hotel didn't have water service. We really stayed at the Dali Hotel, which was very nice. The woman at the front desk was very kind and the facilitiies wery clean. The room was comfy and the localization was excellent. It was a very good experience. We recommend Dali Hotel.

Very convenient without being stuck in the crazy maze of Barrio Santa Cruz. Always a bit leary about leaving the room key with the front desk, but I always felt safe.

The hotel is in a very good location but some negative issues: Breakfast is NOT included; Staff in not very smart; Roms faces on the street are noisy couse to the tram station.

The female staff on duty at the counter was quite grouchy. Maybe it's due to the heat but I don't know. The night duty uncle, albeit old, was rather helpful and more friendly. Very good location overall, just opposite the cathedral.
