Nice family run hostel. Calm atmosphere (because 10 minutes walk from center). The family was friendly but most of the time Roberto wasn't there. If you needed help, you had to call him on his cell phone. So you can't really rely on the 'pick up service' either (in our case, we were picked up, but not brought back the day we left).

A very pleasant venue. We were greatly appreciative that we were picked up from the bus station late at night.
I stayed in a 3 bed room which was fine although very hot as no fan. The staff were barely around and unfortunately the kitchen and bathrooms were not clean. There was either boiling hot water or a tiny amount of cold. They pick and choose if they want to do your laundry and there are alot of flies everywhere. Not worth the money but everywhere in San Pedro is expensive.
Not particularly clean, and quite a walk outside of town, however the staff were very accomadating and friendly. Cheap but you pay for it by having to walk back and forth into town to book tours etc.
Really not far from centre, nice 10 minute walk, nice hammocks in the garden, great place to meet other travellers in the garden. The facilities are very basic, but the mattresses are the best I have slept on in South America.
Staff very friendly; I stayed in the room + bath, so it was nice. There are 2 other bathrooms, and the hostel it´s not so full of people. I would stay in there again.
the hostel is quite far away from the town center. it's cheap but don't expect anything more.
Really liked the atmosphere in the hostel, but staff was not always there so was hard to get information sometimes. The Tours with their tour company are really great, especially Juan is a great guide! Facilities are good, really clean is complicated with all the sand but they try hard ;)
A little out of town, you need a torch to find your way home. The hostel staff are split between two hostels and you were constantly told to wait for Natalie when you had problems. One girl to run two hostels is not acceptable. The staff also like to move all your things when cleaning your rooms. The smashed our unopened bottle of cachaca that we had been carrying for weeks with no apology. You get picked up, but the van is soo dirty you need a shower after! Mixed bag of a hostel!
We had a bargain double room, with cable TV. Its 15 mins to town center (despite telephoning for a pick up and emailing in advance no sign of it), You get what you pay for. The kitchen is the smallest yet I have seen, 2 bathrooms for 26 beds. 2 mini markets close by. Good quality cheap tours. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Hot water reliable. Rooms round courtyard so noisy at night. Good wifi and communal computer. Would reccomend as fine budget option.
The personal was really kind and gave us lots of recommendation of tours, how to get to attractions, places to eat and everything else! The hostal is nice and quite. We could sleep very well, something that is really important considering that you have to be waken up very early for most of the tours.

Simple but cozy and calm hostel, ran by a nice family. Double rooms are comfortable, good mat, hangers and shelfs. Bathroom is clean and has hot water. If a 10 min walk from the centre of the town do not bother you, it's a good choice.
I reAlly enjoyed our stay here. It a well setup and friendly place to stay with a great atmosphere and staff that make you feel right at home. The only downside is that its a bit out of town around a 10-12 minute walk but thats good atleast we got some exercise.
