The owners are a very nice elderly couple and their daughter, who helps them with the organizational stuff. Atmosphere was very good, friendly and quiet. Our room was very simple and even a little shabby, but definitely clean. I would call it a good address for budget travelers and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place to stay in the center of Madrid, quiet at night and very nice people!!

Excellent value for money: wonderful location, close to historic center, shopping areas, subway stations; clean, working facilities; friendly staff. No common areas, and no special care taken to decorate or give the rooms a homey atmosphere, but a perfect place to stay if you want to spend your days out exploring Madrid and need a safe, central, clean and cheap place to spend your nights.

I think that with breakfast the place would be the best

Horrible, claustrophobic experience. The first room had 40x40cm window close to ceiling. While I travel, I work with my laptop. I left a note outside that the room didn't need cleaning, but the staff came with their own keys twice to check what I was doing in the room. Suddenly I was transferred to another room close to noisy staff quarters. The second room had about 30x60cm window to a narrow corridor, no access to daylight or fresh air. There was only little hot water, if someone else used it.
