Stayed here over New Years with my gf & we loved it. You wont find a better value double room in Valpo especially over New Years when prices skyrocket. This place doesnt have many reviews because during the uni semester the rooms are rented out to students so it only really runs as a hostel for a few months in the year. The couple who owns it will go out of their way to help you and Kent is a native English speaker. Washing machine is free & the view from the baclony is spectacular!

Nice owners and great view from the balcony, where we had some beautiful nights with barbecue and wine. The house is a little bit difficult to find. The atmosphere is very relaxed. In general the prices are very fair but of course increasing over new years eve as anywhere in Valparaiso.

I have travelled all over this world, staying in literally hundreds of hostels in the process. Whilst this modest establishment may not be the grandest facility, it is most definitely my favourite. I was pretty beat up when I arrived here, but the reception I received from the Ken and his wife made me feel instantly at home. The views from the rooftop terrace are unbeatable and are best combined with the wood fired BBQ and copious quantities of Chilean red wine. The only place to stay in Valpo..
