This is a friendly but run-of-the-mill budget hostel. Included in the price are cable TV and a simple breakfast. There's also an extremely slow internet connection in the lobby if you really need to check email, etc, but don't expect too much. My minor quibbles included a shower that took five minutes to heat up and even then the water was tepid and pillows that made sacks of cement comfortable. Quibles aside, it's a simple, friendly and reasonably-priced place.

every time we asked the staff a question we would first have to find them, and they acted like we were interrupting them.

Great location, and were delighted with the heater in our room for the cold nights, we were the only people staying so felt a bit like a ghost hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was really good.

Excellent location in the center of Puno. The manager is very friendly and maternal, although she seemed a bit disorganized (she wasn't sure how much I had to pay, I had to present my booking confirmation). A hotel rather than a hostal. No common area, so little interaction with otehr travellers. Clean and secure. Cable TV in the room.

It's rather a hotel than a hostel. The usual backpacker services (common room, book exchange, etc.) are non-existent. However, the location is superb. Plus: The single room came with heating (had to turn it off during night as it was too warm), hot shower, satellite TV. If you're not looking for a party location, this hotel might be for you.

This is a very good place to stay in Puno. The rooms are clean and tidy, they have Direct TV and hot shower. It is also well located. A very good choice

Location and room were good, however, the staff were very rude and unhelpfull when we had an issue. We tried to get our passports from their safety deposit box, and were told we would have to wait until the next day, as the person with the key was not there. We stayed 3 nights on the proviso that the 3rd night was 50%, but when we came to check out, they told us this was not the case and had to pay the full amount.

puno gets freezing at night and the you will end up having to wrap up warm even inside the hostel as it is very cold, although they do give you 5 blankets for the bed, so you can wrap up whilst sleeping. plus the laudry service is SO EXPENIVE!! go somewhere outside the hostel as it is half the price

We needed somewhere to stay for one night and the hostel was warm and comfortable. Would recommend.
