The hotel was in a bit of a dodgy area but quite close to the airport. Room was fine but bed was kind of damp and musty. We had accidentally booked for the next day and so they charged us twice which we didn't really understand as if they had told us on arrival, we could have given 24hrs notice. At least a room was available when we arrived. Wouldn't recommend.

Hola, Yes, we are close to the aiport; about the area, I have lived several years now on this area and had no problems, actually the only time I was robbed was in Miraflores which is supossed to be the safest area in Lima, this area is safe =) sometimes guests even go jog in the morning around the little park we have outside. Yes, the room is fine, thank you; and more than fine most guests tell us as they compliment us for the rooms we have. The humidity in Lima is known and we are currently on Winter but we do our best to fight humidity, we ventilate the rooms, put a humidity absorber in the rooms (maybe you didn't see it, it's on top of the closet), vacuum the carpets everyday, etc About the charge, we hate missunderstandings, let us walk you through what happened again: We have a 24 hours cancellation policy, most places have a 72 hours cancellation policy and they would just charged your credit card the 100% of the rate without offering a solution, our receptionist understanding what unfair would be you finding a charge on your card offered a solution, (only hours before your reservation's check-in time) and charge you only 50% of a room you were not going to use. We think this 50% is very fair having in account we only have 10 rooms and the tourist season we are at the moment, and that the room was separated for you and blocked from our inventory for other possible guests that could occupy the room. If we had received a cancellation before the 24 hours of the check-in date of course there would've been any charge at all. We receive guests from all over the world and all we want is for our guests to continue having a good impression of our place =)
