This hostel is very nice, quiet, clean and pretty. I would definitly recommend it. I also met a lot of friendly travelers which was really nice.

It was a wonderful hostel that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Playa del Carmen. Currently, there is construction on the street outside of the hostel that is very loud but once that is done it will definitely be the best hostel in town.

Before I rate any hostel I always say that the experience you have is what you make of it so no review is the be all and end all of a Hostel. Upon arriving at Hostel 3B we were greeted by the very friendly guy at reception. He checked us into our rooms no hassle but keeps your passport as a deposit, and you have to pay for EVERYTHING in the hostel, which includes filling up your drink bottle!! It is close to the beach and to all the shops and the recent renovation adds lovely character.

This is a newly renovated hostel, Very clean with spacious rooms, big windows and beautiful bathrooms. There is a kitchen and if you do not want to cook you can order a breakfast in the morning for just $2.5 US . Alcohol is not allowed in the hostel, so there no night life in there,but hostel offers great rest, and it is on the exceletn location so you can easily go out and have fun. I met a mexcican gril in the hostel and with her friends she took me all around Playa del Carmen, it was awesome.

Really nice hostel, very modern and has nice hot showers. I didn't like that there were no outdoor areas and the common area is very small. The Wifi does not work upstairs or in the rooms so the small common area was filled with people on their laptops trying to get an outlet. This was the only real con. Also, doesn't have the party scene you will find at rio playa.
