The location is great but that's about it. The rooms are pretty dingy and outdated and... hot. A part of our roof actually caved in while we were there!!! And no one fixed it! Ii would say they need to update some safety concerns. The kitchen is gross- the fridge door is broken. We found out once we got there you can get a nicer place for less money.

The hostel is in a prime spot right across from the ocean. The staff is great and makes a pretty good breakfast in the morning. The bathrooms are pretty nice also. I would bring a lock, because there is only a very tiny locker you can get in the lobby. If I did go to San Juan again, I would probably pick the same place.

Fun, safe, and fairly clean space. Very friendly staff, and excellent location front shore of San Juan. The facilities are fairly modest, but decent deal for the price ;-)
