Live only a few minutes walk up the hill from the famous surf break Playa Maderas at our Surf Hostel in southern Nicaragua.
During your stay at Hostel Clandestino, you can combine surfing with skateboarding in our private skate bowl, socializing with fellow travellers and enjoying the lush jungle from our yoga deck.
We know how important it is to have a nice place to cook up some fresh, tasty and healthy food before or after a long surf session.
No matter if you plan on cooking together with fellow travellers or just need a place to chop up some fresh tropical fruit bought from the food truck that comes by every five days to make a refreshing smoothie, our open communal kitchen is the perfect spot!
Make sure to bring some groceries (oil and spices,too) from San Juan del Sur in case you plan on using our guest kitchen.
There are a couple of restaurants (more pricey than typical Nicaraguan food) and surf shops around but no stores at all.
These days, a fruit and vegetable truck comes to the hostel two times a week (usually Tuesdays and Fridays).
Payment is made in cash (CORDOBAS) directly at the hostel, the closest ATMs are in San Juan del Sur.

Hostel Clandestino Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation Policy: 7 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
