An excellent hostel really well situated to the most beautiful part of central Warsaw. My room was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location but no character. The staff do not make you feel like you are welcomed, they were a bit cold.. It's not a bad place to stay and it is in the city centre, but it could be better..

The hostel is really in the city center, close to the historical old part of the city, close to the clubs & pubs. The services are poor and the room was not cleaned up in 5 days. In general I liked the hostel, but is one of the most expensive in warsaw.

Great place to stay with large and very clean rooms. The staff was very helpful with providing information about buses and opening hours. This hostel is a place to feel comfortable, socialize with nice people in the large common room a the perfect starting point for exploring the city.

Really enjoyed my time at this hostel the highlight of which was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way to make you feel at home. Add to that clean rooms, ample showers always with hot water, clean bathrooms and a great breakfast and you can see that staying here is a no brainer.

Fantastic hostel - my favourite in Europe to date. Can't speak highly enough of the staff running this place, they were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. The facilities were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was great too. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting Warsaw.

Comfortable, clean, spacious and central. Great common room for meeting fellow travellers, and free breakfast selection is great too. Very friendly, helpful staff who all speak excellent English. Can't recommend this one highly enough!

Had great experiences with all but one staff member who seemed a little upset the night she was working (lots of yelling on the phone all night) . Location to everything is great and the hostel was easy to find with staff giving great tips on places to go and things to see - including non tourist stuff. Great security on front door as well.

Might be that it was the amazing hostel I stayed just before that i felt a bit uncomfortable on arrival. The staff didn't seem to be highly motivated and when I asked for some information I was sent to the tourist office. Probably not helpful for me as a non Polish speaking solo traveller was, that at the time, there was only Polish people at the hostel. So it was a bit tricky to get to know people. But the hostel itself is very good. Great location, comfortable common rooms and great room.

The hostel was very clean and very efficiently run. The staff were helpful and available, and the free breakfast was a nice perk. The decor of the place is also quite nice, and there's plenty of space in the common room and bathrooms. It feels more like a hotel than a hostel because there are so many rooms, but you can still find an intimate hostel atmosphere if you hang out in the common room. You must pay to use their computers, but the Wi-Fi is free from your own laptop or device.

Everything I could want in a hostel. Clean, friendly, great breakfast, nice common room to facilitate meeting people. Staff was excellent, helped me charge my phone despite not having the correct Polish converter. Great location. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the 8-person dorm was very spacious, even had a nice table in the room. You will, however, need a padlock for the lockers, and they are not big enough for a large suitcase or pack. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in Europe!

At the beginning they wanted to charge me more I was supposed to pay and I didn't understand the explanation. Then I had some problems with one of the roommate (I was staying in mixed dorm) and when we told the girl on reception that we're afraid to stay in one room with that guy she confirmed that his behaviour was weird but she can't help us. I didn't feel safe there. And you have to pay if you want to use internet connected computer!

The hostel location was pretty handy, the lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Told us a lot of cheap and good places to eat. Beds were super comfy! Overall a pretty good hostel, was quiet being offseason but that's no problem.

Excellent hostel in good location with friendly and helpful staff. Great showers and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Only drawback was that a very big and very drunk man arrived in our dorm in the middle of the night. He had not checked in earlier as he arrived with his bag. I had to move beds because I was on the top bunk and when this man moved it was like an earthquake (and I am not fussy). He also talked to himself for over an hour. I guess we were unlucky.

We were only able to stay one night, but in the future I would like to spend more time at Hostel Helvetia. It was quite nice and breakfast was wonderful.
