I wouldn't recommend this hostel to solo female travellers. As a woman, I felt uncomfortable and, at times, unsafe during my stay. I was surprised that there were significantly older men staying in the hostel, and I often found myself alone in the shared bathroom late at night with an older man, which made me feel uneasy. More concerning‼️ one guy approached me after seeing me in the bathroom. He called me beautiful, kissed my hand without my invitation, and then, as he was leaving, came back to ask if he could kiss my feet. After that interaction, I was genuinely anxious every time I had to use the bathroom alone, worried that I'd run into him again. On a different note, this was also the first hostel I've stayed at that didn't include towels in the accommodation price. I had no issue renting one, but the hostel had completely run out of towels for an entire day. After travelling, I had no choice but to shower and find other options. This is something that should be managed much better, if towels are offered as a rental service, there should always be enough available for guests. Finally, if you're unlucky enough to get a room facing the main street, don't expect much sleep. The rooms don't have air conditioning, so keeping the windows closed isn't really an option in summer. From around 6:00 a.m. onwards, you'll hear traffic, and people. On weekends, the noise continues well into the night with buses and people out drinking. I understand the hostel can't control the street noise, but installing AC would at least allow guests to close the windows and sleep in a quieter room. I hope the hostel takes both guest safety and these operational issues more seriously in the future.

Firstly...the front door was not even locked half the time. You were supposed to ring the doorbell and they would buzz you in...but I'd say 30%-40% of the time the door was just unlocked and the door to the rooms was always unlocked so people could just walk right into the hostel. Second...there is no AC AND no fans in the building. Was sweating the entire stay to the point it was hard to actually sleep. However, the building was clean, in a great location, and the staff were fantastic.

I Did Not Even Stay Here One Day, Some Shady Men Followed Me Back To My Hostel And Were Trying To Rob Me. The Staff At The Hostel Were In On It. I Also Believe I Was Drugged By These People At The Bar. I Left Immediately The Next Day. I Have Been Requesting a Refund Which They Are Refusing To Give Me. I Was Also Bitten By Bed Bugs...
