Good Location, Good Value and Good activities available.

Great hostel I really enjoyed staying there.

I extended my stay and waited for new room. Staff member quickly assisted me with putting my bags I. Secured room until after 3pm. Inspite of the very clean hostel, all the rooms had a NASTY LOCKER ROOM ODOR.......could be many factors 1. Travelers need to wash clothes more often 2. maybe carpets and room in general need a room deodorizing block to absorb odors 3. One young lady tested all of us in the room..coming in very late, how many bags can I rattle/move and walk heavy across room.

During my time in new york I went between HI and another hostel, i returned to HI for the last few days of my trip because i enjoyed myself so much there.

Overall a very nice hostel with a lot of good activities. Ideal if you are traveling on your own and looking for opportunities to meet other travelers.

This hostel is awesome...very good!

Very clean and with a friendly staff. Dorms are for 8 people but comfortable. Two blocks away from subway, in a safe neighborhood. I would choose it again.

You have to take the metro because its far from downtown, but still good value. its $25 a 7 day ticket. Its a shame theres no breakfast included, so also add about 5-8 dollars extra per day.

Big and nice enough place uptown in NY. Cheap compared to all other accom in NYC and has plenty of activities to get on board with. Subway is not far so can easily get around NY which means the location is fine.

It is NYC, but nearly $60 for a dorm is still pretty steep. Also, no free luggage storage room, while this is standard is most hostels.

This place is grand. The staffs are maybe to busy, they won't really pay attention on you, but they can help you.
