The lady who welcomed us was lovely and by the far the nicest person we met during the whole 4 days of our trip. I think they overbooked so we stayed in a different hotel but it was fine. Breakfast excellent. I would like to warn groups of English ladies going to Dusseldorf that you will not be treated well by the locals. Not a hostel, so no place to hang out or do laundry, but very central in Dusseldorf, clean, big rooms, nice ensuite shower, excellent place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is right in the heart of a tourist-y part of Dusseldorf, so it is well located in that way. However, because it is surrounded by restaurants and bars, there were people making a lot of noise until quite late, making it difficult to sleep. Make sure you have a map of the old town dusseldorf before you set off because the hostel is on a pedestrianised area and taxis cannot take you directly to the door. They can drop you off very close though. Lovely hostel inside and the breakfast is fantastic. Staff could not have been lovelier or more helpful.. It's situated exactly in the OldTown, next to Underground/Tram Hub which is a perfect place. It was the best price ever for such a room, service and breakfast was really good. What can be a bit annoying is the noise from the street, because till about 2am people party on the street. Hello, the hotel is very good for the price. The breakfast is excellent. The room was very clean. However, my room faced the street and it was so noisy! Even until 4 a.m. in the morning, and then the garbage trucks came by at 6 a.m. I did not get much sleep for the 3 days I was there. Otherwise, I was happy with the hotel.
