There are two main employees, a very helpful/kind man and a woman who doesn't not speak a lick of English. Even more, she shrugged off all my attempts @ Spanish and refused to help me or try to understand. In the entire hostel there were only three guys and myself. Which was weird and awkward. The man did upgrade me into a room by myself so I wouldn't be the only female in a room w just guys. I woke up with all sorts of bites (almost 15 bites) - not bed bugs.

A great location to access the airport. Locked up like a drum - only probs can be trying to get back in if you go out and no-one is at the reception desk. Jorge the owner is the most helpful proprietor re: info and booking taxis and how to get where you want to go - outside of Guatemala City, which, let's face it most of us want to get out of. His Mum cooks a great meal too!

It's a nice up kept hostel/hotel. It's unfortunate it's so near the airport and not the city center because it has fantastic areas for hanging out and chilling and instead most people just stay for a very short time waiting for a flight out. The owner is friendly and helpful and his mother makes a delicious dinner.
