So glad we chose to stay here! The staff were so helpful and friendly, we were constantly harassing them with questions and they were well informed and really brilliant, great people. The location was ideal, close to the beach but also close to more local areas, rooms were clean, there were lots of communal spaces to enjoy surrounded by a lovely courtyard. The trips offered here were also excellent (particularly recommend the Coba/Tulum trip run by Caesar). Lovely cat too! Highly recommended!

Our room was excellent, it had everything we needed; from refrigerator to air-conditioner. However, it was a bit far from 5th avenue and the beach. With that price, you could get a much nearer one.

The staff at Colorada are extremely friendly and helpful and I will gladly recommend the hotel to other travellers, who are looking for an afordable hotel with a high standard. The 20 pesos mega bottles og water they sell in the reception is perfect, never had to buy any additional water the entire week I was there.

A fantastic place to stay. Really clean, great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. A couple of blocks out of town, but that just means you get to explore more of Playa. Definitely recommend this hostel to other backpackers. Great value for your money.

Very nice mini hotel, however I wouldnt really call it a hostel. There is no kitchen or common room but the private rooms are very nice and have clean washrooms, tvs and they are cleaned daily. If you are looking for a quiet room and some isolation this is your place.

The room was very minimally furnished with 2 twin beds and a table & 2 chairs & a frig. Absolutely no bedside table between the beds and no reading lamp. The overhead light switch was by the door as you entered so would have to get out of bed after reading to turn the light out. The curtains were very ill fitting and with the sea breeze coming in the window at night there was little privacy with the curtain billowing out. The shower stall had nowhere to put a bar of soap or shampoo bottle.

Good place to stay for pretty cheap. Close enough to the beach to walk there in less than 10 minutes. Walmart is a few blocks away. And there are really tasty taquerias around where you can eat for cheap. No complaints really, except maybe that this isn't a traditional hostel with a kitchen which we would have liked. But you can get a room w/ kitchen. Nice garden area to chill.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location: walkable distance to beach, bus station and main street with shops, bars and clubs, but not right in the party scene so that you don't sleep at moments that you really want to get that bit of sleep. Peaceful, relaxed, cute, not your average party hostel! The rooms I saw had a kitchen/ette and a little terrace or balcony. I would definitely recommend within this category.

My two friends and I were very impressed with the hotel. The three bed dorm with small kitchen and bathroom was all that we needed, and we thought it was very good value for our money. We liked the little courtyard as well.

Altamente recomendado!

Not much to say! A really great hostel, very flexible and helpful staff to accommodate changes in our plans, close to some good places to eat that are off the touristy main strip! Really worth staying here :)

True that this little hotel seems simple at first sight, but with its vivid colours, perfect reception and service, spotlessly clean and practical cozy rooms with all the gadgets working, feeling of safety, nice, cultivated and considerate guests who make the place feel as if it were a hostel, it offers without doubt one of the best value for money deals in town. After a day on the beach or discovering the Mayan ruins elsewhere in the peninsula this hotel feels nothing but HOME SWEET HOME!
