Loved everything about this place. The room was plenty big compared to most other hostel rooms and beds were comfy. Felt like this place lives up to the reviews and I would for sure stay here again next time I come back to playa.

Comfortable and easy stay - set a couple blocks back from the hustle of the main streets which was great so it was quiet. Lots of great little local places to eat nearby. Room was clean, comfortable and host was easy going.

Very nice and cheep hotel, located close to beach and touristic area. For those, who do not want 5 stars comfort, but would like to enjoy a real spirit of Mexican life.

We had a great stay at Hotel Colorado. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us direction to catch the shared cabs to Tulum, information about Playa del Carmen, and directions to the proper ADO bus for a trip to Belize. Our bus left very late and we were able to leave our luggage on the property and hang out in the common area until we left. Would highly recommend.

Really nice place to stay. Very near the beach but away from the main commercial street. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Very clean with fresh towels everyday. Staff were helpful and easy going. It exceeded our expectations

I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay at Hotel Colorado! It was conveniently located in a quieter neighbourhood, a few blocks from Playa's busy Fifth Avenue. The hotel was simple and charming. The female staff member that I met was very friendly and helpful. There was an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a table and chairs at the ground level to relax. Wi-Fi signal was strong! My private room was clean, comfortable, and colourfully painted and it met all of my needs. Highly recommended!

Really nice option for a few days in Playa del Carmen, the staff is very friendly. Our room had TV and AC, but I missed more towels for the hands. The shower heats very well but the flow is a little weak. Depending on the location of the room it may be hard to get internet signal. The location is great, very close to the main streets but still out of the noise.

Staff were friendly and very attentive. Private room was great! Atmosphere was lacking and there wasn't really a common area/place/kitchen we could see or we're told about.

After reading all the really good reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend to stay here also, unfortunately I was actually rather disappointed. We paid extra for a room with aircon which was good but the room was really small and basic. It is also rather frustrating not to have any kitchen facilities available. There is absolutely no atmosphere at this place but it is in a good location.

nice place out of the noise and lights of Playa. Great location, close to ADO and wallmart, and just a few blocks from the beach or the ferry to Cozumel. private double room clean and AC works fine. equiped kitchen in the room was a good plus. The lady of the house is very nice and helps with lots of information. An excellent not expensive alternative in Playa.

This hostel is awesome! We loved our stay here. Our private room had hot water, aircon, TV, fridge and kitchenette! It's quiet so you can go to the busy strip and come back to a nice and quiet place for a good sleep. The owner was super helpful and we didn't want to leave. It's a gem of a place.

It was very good to stay in hotel colorado. One thing i noticed was that there were ant-like flies on wall which bothered a bit. Other than that, location, staffs, facilities are really nice

Look no further!!...It is simply the best for your time and value for money. Close to everything from money changer, local and international diners, transportation, bus station and the beach...but yet it is not in the middle of "busy and loud" places...
