We had an excellent stay at Hotel Du Bellay. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the hotel was in an extremely convenient locations, just minutes from tons of restaurants and the Blois Chateau. The rooms were simple, but a great deal for what we paid.

We stayed a couple of nights in a double room with an ensuite. POSITIVES - The staff were very pleasant and helpful, including allowing us to leave our bags in the reception area prior to check-in. The building has a lot of character and rooms are clean and comfortable. NEGATIVES - It's a bit of a hilly walk to and from the station with luggage, although not too far. Also a bit of a climb up the narrow and steep spiral staircase! Free wifi was only accessible from the dining room.

Great location, one. The hotel was small, but it was nice enough. I shared a room with my roommate that had a private bathroom, but the shower was down the hall, but it was convenient and easy. The staff was really helpful with all my questions, and they directed me around the town, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a economic trip.

I only stayed one night in Hotel du Bellay but it was pleasant. I had a really cute room on the top floor overlooking the roof-tops. The decor is buget but it was comfortable and it had a small ensuite (shared shower in the hall). Its about 12 min walk from the station; if you have cases I'd recommend a taxi as theres a hill but for a backpacker its fine. I was told I couldnt check in before 5pm but the staff let me leave my bags. Its in a nice area. The Italian restaurant next door looked good.

My friend and I had a really lovely time here at the hotel. It was pretty quiet, the man at the front desk was genuinely helpful, and it was in a nice location as well! About a 10 minute walk from the castle. The rooms were simple with basic accommodations, but the price for it was perfect.
