In a sketchy part of town and missing the good vibes / personal touches of a nice hostel. I did appreciate the secured parking. Glad I only stayed one night. I wouldn't stay here again.

Location was fine - about 20 minute walk from the train station, though there would be a bus option to take there. Facility seems like a general city dorm/conference facility that may host folks or tourist groups. I wouldn't really call it a "hostel," but ultimately it's a good price point and a decent option to base yourself if you're looking to peruse the chateaux in the region.

So this is a bit of an unusual place - it’s like a self-service hotel with conference/function rooms (and like a hostel where BYO towel etc.), there were a few school/business groups while I was there, but no other solo travellers I could see (maybe since it was Nov?). Everything was wonderful though, superb facilities, rooms with en-suite, breakfast optional €4, very clean and secure. Only downside is location is a bit out of the way, however there is a bus which stops almost directly outside.
