It's our 4th time at Hotel Florid, which is an excellent run family business right in the heart of Thamel with it's own private garden which is very rare for any hotel right in the beating heart, a lovely hide-away after a days shopping and noise, the food is excellent and the staff couldn't help us enough. Free internet access too. We would like to say thankyou to Charman and his wife Bisu for outstanding hospitality and to all the staff Dibi and Basu plus cooks who made us welcome yet again.

Overall good, reasonably priced, good clean good sized rooms, friendly staff, good location, only bad point, was the beds, very very thin mattresses on wooden beds made them very uncomfortable, but over the few nights we got used to them.
