About
Welcome to our farm and family. We are established as small organic farmers with our parents since 1995. We are a permaculture family with two generation, three of us have our PDC but we are all invested in our land. We are five and three of us speak quite good English but our parent English is simpler, so you will learn some Nepali!
If you want to discover the traditional Nepali lifestyle and learn about culture and festival in the Katmandu valley, and also in the same time learn and share your knowledge about permaculture, you are at the good place!
Only fifteen minutes by taxi from Thamel (you can also come by bus). You are more than welcome in this nice place that looks like a village. We love animals so we have one cow with one baby, few ducks and chickens and a young friendly dog. Every morning and evening, you can see the milking cow. I am learning singing bowl, which i can share with volunteer.
For your excess time you can visit Monkey Temple (it's really close, 10min walking), White Gumba (a holy place for buddism) and hike in some hill nearby. We also have a Patanjali Ayurved near by us where you can learn or do the
Yoga class every morning 2 hours for free. Travelers are expected to live as a member of the family.
We are used to receive many travelers so don’t be shy to contact us.
