Dear backpackers using an Interrail or Eurail Pass - stay at this hotel if you would like good value accomodation as well as the advantage of its convenient location just off the S-Bahn transportation, which is free for the Interrail/Eurail Pass holders.
You can save the one day city transport ticket cost which is 5,40 Euro due the hotel's location
The hotel is just 500m from the main shopping district, Zeil. Its location is also very safe as it is not located near the red-light district as other budget properties are.
Hotel Jaguar is located in the centre of Frankfurt(Just 500m from Zeil which is main shopping mile)in a quiet side road near the zoo, only 5 minutes by S-Bahn from Main Central Station.
It couldn't be placed more conveniently. There is direct communication with suburban railway (S-Bahn) e.g. from main-station, the airport, the fair.
Underground, local train, tram, bus also night bus!!! stop within a 2 minutes walking distance. Arrival with a car is as convenient.

Reception is opened from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Check-in from 3:00 p.m to 10:30 p.m.
Check-out untill 10:30 a.m

I booked this place the day before I was traveling to Frankfurt. When I arrived there was no one at the reception and a phone outside the locked reception door with a sign stating, "Press * to reach call the receptionist". Even with the sketchy looking phone, I picked up and there was no answer. I returned several times between the hours of 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm and each time there was no one there. I ended up going to the hotel down the street and paying 50 Euro for a room for the night.
