1st off they only have directions to drive there... From airport take 78 bus to the Aristotle stop. Walk 4 blocks (same direction as the bus drives away from you)

Strange that it is marketed as a hostel, but is in fact a hotel, I would recommend adding some simple cooking facilities.

It's definitely not a charming place. But you pay for what you get! Good for the price.

Hotel Kastoria is in the best place in Tessaloniki it's in the midle of down town. The only thing which I was not saticfied it was the housekeaper, she was rude I ask her where I can find a toilet she answer first in Greek and she make her answer in a very high tone. The hospitality of the rest of the crew it was ok.And my second opinion about the room it was a little bit cold there was not so nice during the morning hours. That's the only thing, what I can say but the location of the hotel was great

There is no heating in the room. Central location, good friendly staff.

It is a hostel in a good location, but a bit noisy, so choose rooms which have windows facing the interior of the building. If you choose a room facing the main street, you will not sleep the whole night, as the traffic doesn't ever stop in Thessaloniki. And some rooms have windows which do not close well.

The room was rather institutional and cold (it was December and the radiator was practically non-functional), but clean enough, and good value for the money. Overall, it was what you'd expect from a no-frills, bargain hotel, with no real surprises: There was a limited but free kitchen, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the location was central and convenient.
