We spent just one night at Hotel kastoria, our room was basic not especially clean nor comfortable. The wifi was unreliable and the guy at the desk when we arrived wasn't especially helpful or friendly. It's a short walk from the station which is good, it also has a spacious kitchen and on the street below there is a good restaurant for breakfast. We weren't especially impressed with our stay there, the 'hotel' is in clear need of some work, but you get what you pay for.

Not great

A bit dirty, and with a staff not very friendly when we arrived. But the price and location was excellent ! Really warm inside the room with window situated on Egnatia street, so a bit noisy.

Great location, average hostel. Feels more like an hotel then hostel. Rooms might be clean but look very dirty.

It was too hot

Crappy hostel/hotel with poor facilities and zero atmosphere. On the other hand, helpful staff and good location, just in the city center in Thessalonika, close to the train station, the port and pubs and clubs to enjoy party time

Beautiful evocative building. I can only recommend it.

Very central. It is a hotel not hostel. Clean and close to everything. Nothing special but Would recommend

Not a good experience. Staff are rude rooms not clean. Rather bad experience in all.

Very good location but poor hostel... Especially for women.

Good location and near to the city, pubs and all that you want to see when you visit as a tourist.

This hostel was acceptable (my sister and I are not picky, and value location and economy over comfort). However, there was a hostel across the street we stayed in for a different part of our vacation that was the same price but had friendly staff, was cleaner, and felt safer.

Luckily for hotel Kastoria, there are not many other hostels in Thessaloniki. Otherwise this place with cleanliness worse than mountain cottage would not survive for too long.

I've stayed in hostels and they are much better than this hotel. The only good thing is the price and the location. The staff are helpfull. The rooms were ok but old. The bathroom was terrible. The shower was broken.
