Room was a good standard for budget accommodation. Difficult to find - suggest paying a local to guide you there. We had a double bed and also a single. Dbl bed was in good condition but single bed was wonky/broken (we only used to sit our bags on). Owner was okay. Wifi worked although we had to sit near to reception to get good signal. Location great - in best part of medina and 5 mins walk from fantastic beach. Showers look a bit horrible but work ok. Toilets disgusting. Well worth a visit.

Well, although one of the staff members was really nice, another was intent on cheating me. When I first arrived, he charged me the full amount in dhms (even though a deposit had already been paid online) and refused to accept anything less. Eventually I just paid it because I didn't want to argue, and he was pretending not to understand me. So they are dishonest. Also the bed sheets are dirty and they don't have toilet paper.

Expensive & filthy. We paid 150DH for a dusty dirty double room. One of the shared showers didn't work, the other had no lock on the door. The toilet hasn't been cleaned in 100 years, the smell was absolutely unbearable. We stayed the night, and checked out at dawn. Found another place just 100 metres away, luxurious in comparison and for only 100DH a night.
Staff is very gentle. We felt comfortable.
It's a very simple hotel, but nice for its price. It's not fancy, the rooms are very simple but do the service. It's in a good location, in the centre of the medina.
We stayed there for two nights and weren't expecting much because we always try to find cheap places and you always get what you pay for. but this hostel was way below our expectations.. there is no warm water, no plug socket.. it was dirty everywhere and we even found some hairs of the guests which stayed there before us all over the room.. not to mention the bed bugs.. better choose an other hostel..
we made a booking through hostel world. Staff pretended to know nothing about it upon arrival. They did have another more expensive room available. Took 30 minutes of arguing to get our deposit back. dont stay here. many better options

The guy who worked there tried to charge us over double the reservation cost for our room, and would only reconsider after a great deal of protest, and a print out of our reservation. Bedding was DIRTY, but great location, wat an u ask for such a cheap place i suppose
They didn't know we'd made a reservation. The rooms are far from the picture in they show. It was more expensive than most rooms offered. Bottom line: as the locals recommend, NEVER book a room in advance, it's ALWAYS cheaper to get a room when you arrive. There are plenty iof new hotels crazy for tourists for 100DH/couple/night - about 11US dollars.
Great Location in the Medina part of Essoiura, great price, but very dirty place. Not one bit Majestic im afraid.
No hot water until last night, after 2/3 requests: neither shower could be locked! Owner has lg calculator with exchange rate highly in his favour! had to battle for reasonable 15.30€ but as I got the best room, let him win! Pillowcase OK but pillow inside: dirtiest I've ever seen. Very memorable room & town, tho DAMP, in bedding, walls, it permeated everything. Sheets clean but light switches e.g.WC!filthy, & floors & tiles not too good...
It's "oke" if you look at the prices and the location. The beds are clean, but the floor isn't en they do not clean anything during your stay. You have rooms with shared en private bathroom. Both stink a little haha. The rooms are quite humid (and "leaking spots" on the ceiling). Definitely wouldn't go there in winter, but for summer just to 'sleep' its *ok*. Take in account that it is a rather noisy street!!! Advantage; usually there are rooms free, even without reservation.
If you are truly looking for only a place to lay your head, this place is for you. However, if you are willing to pay around 10-12 Euros more you will be in much more comfortable surroundings. We originally booked this hotel for one night but switched after they showed us our room.
