Diabat hostel is a family-run clean property transformed into a hostel, surrounded by a vast garden planted with trees and flowers, with a terrace overlooking the sea, where the water is very clear.

Just a 15-minute walk from the town center, far from the hustle and bustle, the hostel offers an example of traditional architecture. The decor makes it a veritable museum of old Moroccan art, and you'll be amazed by the beauty and rarity of the old works on display.

Ideally situated in a quiet and charming alley close to the sea, you'll find on the way to the hostel many local activities, cafes, The Essaouira airport is 20 km from the property and the nearest bus station is 9 minutes away.

Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

I had a reservation of 2 nights and I had paid more of additional 3 nights. So, I paid all 5 nights on the check-in day. But, the owner canceled the 3 nights after 2 nights sleeping. It was done on the sleeping day evening suddenly without any reason. So, I had very difficult time finding out the other new hostel right away on the same day. I was the most terrible experience in my entire life. There is nothing to see in this rural village. & far away from the city center, about 2 hours walking

I enjoyed very much staying at Diabat hostel with the very friendly and helpful hosts. I unfortunately missed out on any rooftop rooms, but the views from the accessible rooftop are fantastic. I also liked the atmosphere very much. Like many places in these parts it's not easy to find (GPS in our navigators does not seem to have adequate resolution), so some signage would be helpful for the last few meters for those arriving with their own transport. Thanks

The people and family who ran the hostel were very welcoming and created such a good atmosphere. It’s also in Diabat which is a bit farther than the main town and the beaches are much more serene and quiet. It’s a really nice place and Essaouira is a workable town and a very cheap cab ride away.
