I could hear every sound in the hotel, while I wast there. The room isn't insulated against noise. I was very disappointed about that.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a little small and the shared bathrooms can cause problems during rush hour times when everyone is trying to use them (morning and night). Insufficient room lightning, but good wifi, and they left us fans to cool off from the heat since they did not have air conditioning. Overall, enjoyable stay. If you plan to stay here just be prepared for the possible bathroom wait time.

Wen we arrived, we were greeted by a woman at the reception who was very cold and demanded my name and seemed irritated when she couldn't find it at first. When she found it she did not welcome us she immediately started shaking her head ''there is a problem with your booking, big problem' - I was straight away panicked as she gave us the impression we couldn't stay there. Great location if you want to stay in the main area of Venice island. Directions were very clear. Older style room with old facilities but was suitable for a short stay. Shared bathrooms are fine as there are multiple bathrooms per floor. No aircon so I imagine it would get quite hot in summer - we stayed at beginning of June and it was just manageable with the ceiling fan on its highest setting. Rooms could do with a revamp but overall okay accommodation for location.

Although we knew that we had booked a basic hotel and didn't expect luxury for the price that we paid what we were met with when we arrived was awful. They have misrepresented what the rooms are like and what look like a light spacious rooms on the hotel photos are actually dark, dank and cramped space. There was only one proper shower for a whole floor. The staff were nice but unhelpful - the roof of our room leaked and they either did nothing or put a towel on the floor. Not a good experience

First of all, a positive: the location is perfect, right off Piaza San Marco. Howeverv the hotel was an awful choice for a place to stay. First of all, the room had mold stains (I cannot confirm that there was in fact mold) on the curtains and bed spreads. Moreover, there were 3 shared bathrooms with several bedrooms. Of those 3, one had a shower head where the bath spicket was, the second looked like it had mold growing up the door so I didn't even bother checking, and the third was clean but
