A hotel in a nice setting, with service minded staff. I can recommend the kitchen, however the chef has no problem to serve two days after each other the same dishes (they are delicious but with a little fantasy it is something which is not done). Only an extra staff member to make the rooms (incl. bathroom) spic&span is really necessary.

The restaurant was good - particularly the curry. Rooms were basic but clean.We were given the price by hostelworld but at the end the hostel charged us a 10% service fee on top. I know that this is sometimes done in Sri Lanka but it wasn't made clear at the start. No other guest house we stayed in charged us extra in this way.
