Very cheap hostel in a quiet part of Agra. It's very close to the East Gate ticket office. We loved the views from the rooftop restaurant. The rooms aren't clean and the beds are extremely warm, because there's a plastic layer on the mattress. Wifi is okay.

Great hotel, great staff and a great location. I had one issue which was that I could not get Wi-Fi in my room so the guys at the front desk arranged another room for me right away. I would definitely recommend this hotel for somewhere to stay in Agra and it is a quick stroll away from the East gate of the Taj Mahal.

Cons: paid for a standard rm, on arrival found out this does not include ac. In India in may, ac essential. We had to pay 1000 rupees for ac for one night if we wanted it. Bathroom wasn't clean, toilet had plastic in it and hot water never worked. Pros: Location brilliant, 5 min walk to east gate of Taj. Rooftop terrace has amazing view of the taj, and they serve decent food at an ok price. 10min drive from both train stations. 5 min rickshaw ride from McDonald's if your over having Indian food

very nice place exceptional value for money ration (if you book room within view on the taj mahal, which is not needed in my opinion anyways) cleanliness nothing special, but definitely ok for 'normal' travellers relaxing atmosphere having dinner on rooftop restaurant also nice

This was a fantastic hotel for the price. We had a basic room but were still treated very well and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were great - such as wifi, laundry and a computer room. However the internet is VERY slow! The best bit about the hotel was the view - it was perfect to eat whilst looking at the Taj and easy to walk to for the early morning sunrise. The food here is also fantastic, probably the best butter masala i have had.

Nice view on the Taj Mahal, very close to it, and reasonable price for a very good standing. Really pleasant stay as a whole.

Very good location, you can walk to the Taj Mahal. Very dirty room even though the reception area and corridors were spotless???? but the price was good.

Good: Location - very near to Taj Mahal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and toilet fairly large. Bad: worst quality tap water among all the Indian cities we visited. Found huge bed bug on pillow, killed it with a piece of paper and alot of fresh blood came out. I personally had a lot of bites all over my arms and legs. Toilet connected to outside corridor via hole at top of wall - mosquitoes enter room whenever we open the toilet door. Aircon super noisy, difficult to fall asleep.

Great view of the Taj Mahal from the rooftop restaurant. Very good location for getting to the Taj for sunrise - we left at 5.30 am and were pretty much first in the queue at the East Gate which got us some great photos (if you do this, buy your ticket the day before as the ticket office isn't next to the gate - and take mozzie repellent with you!) Staff were helpful and some were very friendly (others not so much). Food was decent. Room clean but bathroom a bit grubby. Overall not a bad stay.

The staff at the reception was very harsh and not very cooperative. For example they tried to double charge the prepayment we already had paid. The rooms were not really clean, not possible to open the window, fresh air only through the A/C (extra cost). There is no A/C and no breakfast with the standard room, not pointed out in the description. On the other hand it is cheap an near to the Taj, but away from the town and the other sights / nightlife.

Our stay was comfortable. It was a 5min walk to the the Taj Mahal's ticket counter and then 15min from the ticket counter to the Taj's west entrance gate. However, we had an issue with the hot water the 2 nights we stayed there.

It's an OK place, not too much. Location is great, roof top with great view to Taj Mahal, staff is good but not amazing. Rooms were clean but bathroons not that much. We had a bad expirience with food poisoning but it was not really their fault - only a little bit of carefulness would have been ok.

I didn't see much difference when I paid INS 600 for "standard double bed' on Feb.7 and INS 1200 for "superior double bed" on Feb.8. For a backpaker, never ever pay more money for a room facing Taj Mahal. Actually, you can't have a good view, partially blocked by a water tank of the next-door hotel. The money you saved is far enough for you to enjoy beer, coffee or dinner at the roof-top restaurant and a better view.

A good place to stay in agra as was very close to the Taj east gate. There are amazing views of the taj from the rooftop restaraunt. Room was clean and well presented however shower was slightly broken although worked okay! The internet also failed to work during our stay! Despite this i would advise staying here as the location is so good also close to the ticket office where you also get a free ride to the entrance of the taj from!
