Steven is a fantastic host. He really goes out of his way for his guests. Not only does he have a great understanding of English he came to meet me personally at the Huang Shan railway station at 1 in the morning the first night when I got in late and drove me back to the B&B. He gave me maps to the mountain, arrange taxi rides and went out of his way to change my train ticket back to Shanghai. The B&B is top notch, beautiful decor and very clean.

We had a great stay at Huangshan bed & breakfast. Stephen was a great host, he helped us with everything from picking us up from the airport to booking tickets and everything with the mountain.. He has worked as a guided on the mountain, so he knows everything about it and helped us to plan our day there. The hostel is very clean and the food is great. This is by far the best hostel we stayed in, in China.

Steven is just the perfect host: very helpful, very nice, very welcoming. We felt like home in his hostel. He helped us with everything: transportation, food, visits, he even taught us how to play Mahhjong and helped us to understand Chinese culture! The rooms are amazing: it is like a hotel but with hostel prices. It is possible to have dinner there: the food is delicious and cheap. My friends and I highly recommend this hostel. We already think about coming back.

Great staff and the hotel-the owner and his wife did they best to make our stay as at home, we even plaid mahjong with the owner. He advised the best things to see and where not to go, for additional fee you can eat the home made dinner -it was delicious. Moreover it is worth to use the transport provided by hotel from the station to hotel it is for free. The one issue was sometimes the noise of trains comming because it was close but not so many of them. For sure we recommend the place

Amazing place. Great views, great food ( cooked by the owners). Tunxi is too hectic - but this place is away from the congested areas, but still convenient to everything. Steve was so hospitable. He arranged our transport to the mountains and villages. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip.

I f you are a foreigner, Huangshan Bed and Breakfast is definitely a place to stay. Steven and his family are very hospitable. The home cooked food is delicious and Steven is happy to arrange everything for you from bus station pick up to booking a hotel. He's amazing and he knows everyone. If all hotel managers were like Steven the world wouldn't need travel agencies :)

My stay on Huangshan B&B was very good, Steven really is a good person willing to help (good English!). I've got no major problems during my stay. The only thing that doesn't make this B&B better is the fact that unfortunately it is not good located, even though you have a bus stop near, you have to walk on a trail and cross a train railtrack to get to the hostel. But, once again, despite the location, the service, the willingness to help, and the kindness of Steven, the owner, was very good.

I would recommend Huangshan Bed and Breakfast. The price is very affordable, and food is free. Both Stephen and his wife are excellent cooks, the food was delicious. Stephen offers free pick up and drop off at the train station. He and his family speak excellent English and will help you arrange your adventures. They were very helpful, welcoming and very accommodating.
