Very useful advice for travelling around El Calafate from helpful staff. Beautiful view from the hostel though a bit far from the downtown, it's ok.

Great hostel! Marcelo's an excellent host. The facilities are always clean, the location is good (next to the biggest super market in town and 10 mins from the bus station), good music, plenty of hangout areas, and everything you need in the kitchen. There's a nice yard with a bbq pit but I was there during the winter so it was too cold to enjoy. Overall, excellent hostel!

This place is awesome and attracts fun guests. One night of our stay, everyone in the hostel pooled our money to barbeque over the lodge fireplace and the food was so good! They speak basic English and are very helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Had an awesome stay here. all of the staff is really down to earth, helpful, genuine, and cool people all around. Marcelo was very accommodating in making last minute plans, which we really appreciated! The bedrooms are super warm, the living room cozy, and the bathrooms clean! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a spot to crash in Calafate!

The hostel is clean and secure. The beds are comfy and the lounge area is nice. Breakfast was the same as everywhere in Argentina... basic but did the job. The staff were friendly and the view from the hostel was worth the slight walk up hill. The excursion to the glacier we did through the hostel was cheaper than the tourist offices we had asked in town and it was an enjoyable trip. If I was to stay in El Calafate again I wouldn't hesitate at staying here again.

We absolutely loved i Keu ken!! We arrived super later at night and Marcelo was ready to receive us. The location is a little further up the hill, but has a spectacular view of the lake and is really close to giant grocery store. He was very attentive and helpful in booking tours and buses. Tea and coffee all day. They have a slack line set up! It's a very nice vibe. We would stay here again in a second.

Shower in highly temperamental: either boiling or freezing water. Would be good if they sorted it out.

Staff were very helpful. Minitrecking is amazing! Watch out for the stray dogs.

Amazing hostel with great customer service. Our host franco could not have been more helpful with booking all of our trips to perito moreno... He even picked up one of our friends at 6:30 in the morning from another hostel so that she could go on the same tour as us. The only complaint was that there was one toaster for the bread! Which by the way was great as well.

Good hostel, a bit disorganized sometimes but staff makes it happen anyways.

An absolutely amazing hostel with a staff that makes you feel like family. I had 2 separate stops in Calafate. The first place one of those big YHA type places with zero personality, not personal touch. I Keu Ken is what I hope for when booking a hostel. Good atmosphere and staff that bends over backwards to meet your needs.

Really recommend this hostel for people who want an overall decent place to stay for a few nights. The place is homely with very helpful staff who know everything there is to know about trips/tours. It's warm and clean with good facilities and very near the supermarket and only 10 mins away from the main road. I would definately stay here again!

Arrived here last minute. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with booking all tours and buses else where, which they can arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off at the hostel. Has a great view of the lake, a good kitchen and close to the bus station and supermarket. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Easy to mingle with other guests, good wi-fi. Would definitely stay at I Kue Ken again.

Completely fell in love with this place! We actually recommend it to all the travelers we meet venturing into El Calafate. A bit of an uphill walk, but it is very near the main street and just a 5 min walk from one of the only grocery stores in town. It has a very homey, cozy feel- comfy beds, great staff. They book tours for you, as well; and at a comparable price to agencies in town. We had a great experience with these guys!
