One of the best hostels we stayed in, in Argentina. Wonderful friendly atmosphere, lovely asado cooked, extremely clean and comfortable rooms, great places to relax, fantastic kitchen. They have the hostel just how a traveler wants it, 10/10!!!

First of all - best staff ever :-) A real backpacker-hostel where you can book tours and get picked up in the morning for the tour. Staff was really flexible and helpful. Rooms were good and showers really hot! Just perfect after a cold day in Parque Nacional Perito Moreno. It is a bit outside of city center but the view is great and supermarket close. If you are looking for a quiet hostel - it will suit you. One point they should improve is the kitchen which is too small.

Nice hostel with good vibe. Slight confusion over the price of the vegetarian BBQ/Asado but that was resolved. Great overview of the excursion options. One point of note for fellow travelers - bizarrely if you want to extend your stay in the dorms it's cheaper to do so via hostelworld then to do so at the reception desk! Strange. Also despite the HOLA signs they're no longer a member so don't expect 10% discount.

private kitchen, great heater. clean and comfort room. near the big supper market. a little bit far from main street.

Great bbq on friday night! Very clean, staff helpful if a little abrupt. Close to bus station but a little tricky to find. Offer a great value tour to Perito Moreno which is ultimately the point to El Calafate!

Arrived in the early hours of the morning and was greated by friendly staff who helped with the trip to the glacier. Breakfast was great featuring some amazing breads. Would stay here again.

Intro is given when you arrive which greatly helps in your time here. Location not good, small hike to get back to the hostel from town - near large supermarket - plus. Breakfast, a joke, bread & crackers. If you don't drink tea/coffee you are in luck, you can have a glass of milk instead, however I tried to use that same milk that others were drinking to make cereal with and the man working almost had a nervous breakdown, tried to then make me use someone else's named milk from the fridge

One of the best hostels ever! Location is a bit of a down side of this hostel, it's on the last street of town, but it's a quite small town, the problem is to climb the hill everytime you want to hit town. Good side is they're the closest to the supermarket, also they have the best view! Atmosphere and staff were just EXCELLENT, bathrooms were clean but showers didn't work properly. Kitchen was the biggest issue, too small for everyone but still, more pros than cons, well worth going for it!

Fantastic hostel with great location and really helpful staff. Would stay again. Only a few blocks from the main street and bus station.

Fantastic hostel, one of our favourites. Really nice, homely atmosphere with friendly staff that will go out of their to help. We ended up staying twice and when we returned the second time, got a very warm welcome. They also have a very friendly dog, Tristan. The included breakfast is good for a hostel breakfast. We splashed out on a private room which was well worth it, we had a self contained apartment with a kitchen/bathroom. Would not stay anywhere else in El Calafate.

Perfect place to stay, a little bit away from the center, about 15 walking minutes... Nice dog!

This hostel is located a 5-10 minute walk uphill from the bus station. I walked, but I would recommend taking a taxi if you have a lot of luggage because taxis are really cheap from the bus station. This hostel has a real chill, homey vibe and the staff is all really nice -- easy to meet other travelers too. It's a bit of a walk from the downtown area, but it is very relaxed and has nice views and a nice breakfast and is close to a grocery store. They're very helpful in planning activities.

Close to the bus station, it's up a small hill but I don't know why people would complain about this, doesn't everyone come to this region to hike? Nice view from the hostel. Good breakfast and nice communal area. The staff were very helpful, especially Ignacio. We booked 2 tours, the Mini Trek to Perito Moreno glacier and horseback riding at Estancia Teresita, both excellent! The hostel let us store our big bags for a few days while we went to El Chalten which was so helpful.

Good hostel that's a little out the way of the Main Street but it is walkable. Breakfast was good as was the room and beds. Wifi was also decent enough. No complaints.

A really nice hostel with a good atmosphere. I really felt "at home" there. The staff is really helpful and provide good information (they also told honestly which things we could better do in el chalten instead of el calafate). And they have really great Asados!

I loved the hostel dog, he was the coolest about the whole stay. I didn't like that then very hard tried to sell their tour to Perito Moreno, and the woman with big hair working there was quite rude and too stressed. The french girl was very helpful. You could hear the noises from the bathrooms into the dorms, not so nice. Good breakfast.
